THE Piano Man himself, Billy Joel, is back on the road for a slew of new UK and US dates in 2025.
Billy’s UK shows will take place in the summer and will be his only European appearances, though fans will also be able to catch him at his five new US dates.
He has announced that he will be touring the US with The Police front man Sting and rock and roll legend Stevie Nicks.
Here’s how you can grab tickets.
Tour dates
New US dates
Billy has announced new tour dates for the USA, in addition to his solo shows on:
- Hollywood, Florida (January 17, 2025)
- Uncasville, Connecticut (February 22, 2025)
He will be joined by Sting at the following concerts:
- Indianapolis, Indiana (February 8, 2025)
- Syracuse, New York (April 11, 2025)
- Charlotte, North Carolina (May 10 , 2025)
- Salt Lake City, Utah, (May 23, 2025)
Billy will do a one-off show with his long time touring partner Stevie Nicks in Detroit, Michigan on March 29.
New UK dates
UK fans won’t be left out though, as Billy has announced two huge UK concerts for 2025.
Both will take place in June 2025 and will be his only European appearances.
The dates are:
- Edinburgh, Scottish Gas Murrayfield (June 7, 2025)
- Liverpool, Anfield Stadium (June 21, 2025)
Sadly, it isn’t known if Stevie Nicks or Sting will make appearances.
Ticket prices
Tickets for Billy Joel’s UK shows will go on sale on October 4 at 10am BST.
Although the exact prices haven’t yet been released, a ticket set US fans back $51 in 2024.
However, as demand rises, so do ticket prices with some fans even paying more than £160.
Maximizing your chances
One of the best ways to get tickets on Ticketmaster is to have several people attempt at once.
For example, phoning a friend and having them also try to get tickets for you can double your chances.
Of course, be ready on the day and join the ticket waiting room early.
Normally, the waiting room opens 15 minutes before the sale begins.
Also, look to see if you have access to any presales as some phone providers and energy companies offer these as perks.
Mistakes to avoid
Make sure your internet connection is strong, as a slow connection could mean that someone could get the last few tickets just before you can.
Also, ensure that you are logged into your Ticketmaster account before the sale begins.
Not being logged in could wasted precious seconds as the tickets quickly sell out.
Also, avoid buying tickets on a phone that has low charge as this could make the page lag or, even worse, your phone could shut down.
