Sporting stars send supportive words to teenager after her ACL hell

ANGLE REESE has joined other basketball big names in sending emotional messages to injured Juju Watkins.

USC star Watkins, the Big Ten Player of the Year, has been ruled out for the rest of March Madness after her ACL woe against Mississippi State.

Watkins suffered a horror knee injury which ended her season

The 19-year-old crumbled to the ground in obvious pain.

And it was later revealed she will need season-ending surgery for a torn knee ligament.

Basketball fans have already shared their anguish.

Now Chicago Sky ace Reese and has posted her support too

The 22-year-old, who was named as an WNBA All-Star, wrote: “Prayers for Juju!”

She added two emojis – a sad face and praying hands.

Legend Lisa Leslie, 52, was quick to console Watkins too following the injury in the NCAA tournament.

She wrote: “My heart is broken. I will keep you in my prayers @Jujubballin.

“I know you will be back stronger and better!! Fight On @USCWBB for Juju.”

Other names to post messages included Dez Bryant, Shannon Sharpe, Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson and LSU star Flau’jae Johnson.
