The change came after The U.S. Sun unearthed one of Earle’s future business moves
SUPERSTAR TikToker Alix Earle has halted her podcast after falling out with Call Her Daddy’s Alex Cooper, and fans fear she’s being silenced.
Earle caused a huge stir after pausing her mega-popular show Hot Mess, forcing Cooper to shut down rampant rumors.
TikToker Alix Earle has announced she’s pausing her podcast Hot Mess for the foreseeable future
Her former business partner Alex Cooper has been forced to comment as fans feared she had something to do with the change
Cooper insisted that Earle owns the intellectual property for her podcast
On Thursday, Earle, 24, shared a TikTok announcing that she’s going on a podcasting hiatus “for the foreseeable future” and would start sharing vlogs on YouTube instead.
“I kind of can’t get into the details of it all right now, but I’ve loved it so so much, and I’m really proud of what I’ve built with the podcast,” she told devastated fans.
Earle’s followers rushed to the comments to send their support and share their excitement for the new content.
One person wrote, “Honestly, podcasts are overdone. Vlogs on YouTube are way better.”
And another said, “We love you and can’t wait to watch,”
However, many of the comments were accusations flung at Earle’s former business partner Cooper, who signed the rising start to her brand The Unwell Network in September 2023.
Earle left at the end of February amid fears that the two were beefing, as they abruptly stopped interacting with each other on social media.
Plus, in January, Earle skipped the Unwell Super Bowl party in New Orleans, even though she was already in town for the game.
After seeing the podcaster’s post Wednesday, fans feared that Cooper was blocking Earle from doing her show out of resentment for leaving the network.
One fan wrote, “Alix are you being silent or silenced?” as another said, “thanks a lot Alex Cooper.”
The rumor mill became so viral that Cooper was forced to respond in her own TikTok to quiet the haters.
In a post shared soon after Earle’s, Cooper wrote, “Hi I see ur comments.
“Alix not being able to podcast has nothing to do with Unwell. Idk why she can’t/what’s going on.
“Unwell gave her everything back she owns her IP [intellectual property].”
Cooper ended the note saying she “learned from the best,” and tagged her old boss Dave Portnoy, who helped the media star get into podcasting at Barstool Sports.
The U.S. Sun has reached out to Earle, Cooper, and Gymshark for further information on the drama.
LAWSUIT FALLOUT
Earle’s announcement came after The U.S. Sun exclusively revealed that she has plans to expand her podcast empire with a relationship show.
Earle has a business called AAE Holding Company, Inc which filed trademarks for Earle Girls and Gearles in November 2024.
The trademarks, which are both pending, “provide podcasts featuring discussions of collegiate life, post-collegiate life and young adulthood, relationship, lifestyle, entertainment, travel, fitness, and health and wellness issues.”
The filings also indicate that Earle could release clothing, footgear, and headgear under her own personal brand.
