A GAME show contestant who pocketed a colossal $10million on Prime Video’s epic Beast Games show has told how he may have to hand HALF of the cash back.
Jeffrey Randall Allen, also known as Player 831, succeeded on the TV format hosted by top YouTube star, Mr Beast.
It was one of the biggest prizes handed out in TV history but in a new interview following his win and his sudden rise to fame, Jeffrey has confessed that he won’t receive all of the money and is even unlikely to pocket more than half.
The TV winner appeared on popular podcast show The Iced Coffee Hour to discuss the programme, why he signed up and all about the real value of his earnings.
Confessing that he would not take home the full $10million, Jeffrey revealed that he would have to pay tax on all of his winnings.
Pressing him on this, the podcast host asked: “Everyone’s dying to know, how much is your tax payment?”
In response, Jeffrey said: “Great question: I’m working on it.
“I think it all depends on what I do with the money this year.
“The crazy thing about MrBeast, he doesn’t withhold taxes when he kind of gives the distribution. So I literally got $10 million wired to me.
“So, it’s up to me to do state taxes.”

Divulging further, he admitted that the amount of tax he would have to pay back to the Government was dependent on how he invested the money and how much still remained in his bank account.
If Jeffrey chooses to leave the money sitting in a bank account, he estimates he could be forced to pay back almost $5million in taxes.

However, if he chooses to invest in non-profit organisations or give money to charitable organisations then the amount will be much less.
Jeffrey had already told the podcast show how his intention was to win the programme in order to bag the funds for his unwell son.
He had hoped to win money in order to research creatine transporter deficiency (CTD) – the rare genetic disorder that his son Lucas suffers from.
He explained how Lucas does produce creatine but that his brain and muscles do not receive it as a result of a defective transporter in his blood.
Jeffrey explained: “It presented when he was super young. He started missing milestones; wasn’t able to sit up; wasn’t able to crawl.
“He’s not very verbal and doesn’t cry a ton.”
It was this that inspired him to find unique ways to raise awareness and money for the condition which included him signing up to Beast Games.
However, since his comments, fuming fans have insisted that Jeffrey should be able to keep all of his winnings and have claimed it is unfair that he will have to hand some back.
Writing online, one raged: “There should be a law about game show winnings and lottery.
“The government steals so much it is disgusting. Think about how much was taxed before it changed hands as well.”
Before another wrote: “That’s crazy, can’t they just make a MrBeast stable coin and payout their winners in beast coins?”
Whilst others pointed out how UK game show winnings are tax-free and called on the US to follow suit.
