WHO Wants to be a Millionaire was hit with an abrupt schedule change by ABC just hours before tonight’s episode.

Jimmy Kimmel hosts the weekly game show with celebrities competing in pairs for up to $1 million for charity.

Season 3 of the Millionaire revival premiered earlier this month.

The show airs weekly at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday nights on ABC.

However, without much notice, the network pushed back the season’s third episode.

Because of Joe Biden’s address, July 24’s episode will air an hour later at 9 p.m. ET.

The show scrambled to update fans on social media, posting a note under the Instagram promos of the episode, “**Airing one hour later for eastern and central time zones.”

They noted, however, “Mountain and pacific airings will remain unaffected.**”

Tonight’s episode features comedians Nicole Byer and Sasheer Zamata in the hot seat.

Then, it’s going to be a Full House with actors John Stamos and Dave Coulier in a long-awaited reunion.

‘CRAPPY’

However, many fans took to social media, saying they couldn’t watch the episode now, and others lamented how ABC shuffled its entire evening schedule.

“I have a crappy day scheduled tomorrow and Millionaire was the only thing I was looking forward to,” one X user wrote.

“MILLIONAIRE IS MOVING BACK AN HOUR BUT, IT’S NOT THE ONLY SHOW DOING SO ON ABC! CLAIM TO FAME IS ALSO MOVING BACK AN HOUR! AND, SHARK TANK IS NOT AIRING AT ALL!” blasted another.

“Why was it pushed back?” wondered a third.

A fourth exclaimed, “Excited for Uncle Jesse and Joey!”

As the second fan lamented, this means Claim to Fame will be on at 10 p.m. ET, and there will not be any Shark Tank at all for affected markets.

NEW MONEY

The new season of Millionaire has made for great TV so far and is pulling great ratings, making the switcharoo even more surprising.

In Episode 1, John Mulaney and Nick Kroll went viral on X after botching an “easy” Succession question.

In Episode 2, Parent Trap’s Lisa Ann Walter amazed fans by winning $250,000 after nailing a geography question with no lifelines and walking away proudly.

The rest of Season 3 will be airing at its usual hour of 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. weekly on ABC.

MORE ON MILLIONAIRE

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire premiered on ABC in 1999 and was instantly a smash hit.

Hosted by Regis Philbin, the show’s booming popularity led it to be commissioned as a regular series in 2000.

By 2002, nine savvy citizens had won the grand prize- but no one will forget its first millionaire, John Carpenter.

Meredith Vieira took over as host in 2002 to 2014, with Terry Crews, Cendric The Entertainer and Chris Harrison also hosting over the years.

Three more contestants took home a million during the show’s syndicated version.

Millionaire’s celebrity edition then premiered in 2020 with Kimmel.

ABC put the all-celebrity edition with Kimmel at the helm on an indefinite hiatus in 2022 – but now it’s finally back.
