Vanna White shares clip of tattoo artist daughter Gigi, 27, being starstruck by Celebrity Wheel of Fortune guest

WHEEL of Fortune host Vanna White has shared a sweet moment of her 27-year-old daughter meeting one of her favorite celebrities.
Vanna, 67, introduced her rarely-seen daughter, Gigi, to rapper Snoop Dogg while he appeared on an episode of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune.
The longtime letter-turner sat down for an interview with Good Morning America on Monday with the game show’s new host, Ryan Seacrest, 49.
While discussing Season 42 of the show, which premiered that night, Vanna was asked what has earned her the most “mom points” behind the scenes.
Vanna shares two kids, daughter Gigi and son Nikko, with her ex-husband George Santo Pietro.
Recalling the moment, the TV star explained that her daughter “begged” her to meet Snoop, 52, when he was a guest on Celebrity WoF.
While Vanna said Gigi had met celebrities in the past, she was especially excited to meet the Drop It Like It’s Hot hitmaker.
GMA aired a behind-the-scenes clip of Gigi, a tattoo artist, giving Snoop a hug for the first time.
Vanna also shared a sweet photo of Gigi and Snoop as he leaned his head on her.
On discussing their initial meeting, Vanna said her daughter was “so happy” and that Snoop was “so nice” and “a cool dude.”

GMA host Robin Roberts even added that Snoop was “mama approved,” to which Vanna confirmed, “Absolutely.”
PREDICTING THE FUTURE
During the interview, Robin also surprised Vanna with a throwback clip of her on the morning show from four decades ago.

“Vanna, you have been on the show and in our hearts for 40 years,” Robin said.
“We went to the GMA archive, so take a look at this.”
A young Vanna from 1985 appeared on screen, where she was asked, “Vanna, any other aspirations at the moment?”
“Not at the moment,” she replied. “I’m going to be with Wheel of Fortune as long as it’s on.”

NEW SEASON SHENANIGANS
Ryan took the stage with Vanna on Monday, September 9, for their big Season 42 premiere.
The premiere was a major TV milestone that marked Ryan’s first episode as host following the legendary Pat Sajak, who hosted for 41 years.
Ryan and Vanna walked out through the game show’s bright new set, which had sliding doors center-stage.
The OG American Idol host wore a black suit and tie, while Vanna wore a regal blue gown.
“Welcome to the show,” Vanna told Ryan. “So good to have you.”
He then stood centerstage and addressed the roaring audience and at-home viewers.
“Welcome to Wheel of Fortune. I am your host Ryan Seacrest,” he said.
“I still can’t believe my luck being here tonight to continue this legacy of this incredible show.
“And, of course, my good friend Vanna White. Thank you for the very warm welcome,” he added.
Ryan also said that hosting WoF was his “dream job” and he was aware of the “big shoes” he had to fill, referring to Pat’s legacy.
With the new season came an updated look for the show, including a new laser-run letterboard.
The screen also showed all three contestants on their panels as they answered puzzles.
The brightly lit set and shiny puzzle board distracted many viewers, leading them to show dissatisfaction on social media.
“I get that Wheel of Fortune replaced Pat Sajak because he retired, but why did they have to change the entire set?!” one person wrote on X.
“This new set is going to take more getting used to than Ryan. everything is so computer generated and bright,” another said.
“Not impressed with the new wheel of fortune set,” someone else shared.
Others had mixed reviews on Ryan as the show’s new host, with some calling him “boring” and others thinking he “wasn’t that bad.”
