The contestant needed to have her last guess for the protein bars totaling over $19.86.

After realizing the total had reached $38.97, Cheryl jumped for joy and went in to hug The Price is Right host.

Drew informed Cheryl of her major win, and she responded in disbelief, “Are you serious?!”

The two held hands as she continued to thank the host, nudging herself into Drew’s shoulder while full of emotion.

“I love you guys!” the player also shouted to the audience, who helped her accurately guess.

TOO MUCH, DREW?

Drew has been hosting the popular game show since 2007, succeeding longtime host Bob Barker.

Despite his experience in the hosting arena, Drew was recently slammed by viewers for being “annoying” after continuously repeating a phrase.

In an episode last week, contestant Carlos was competing for the $100,000 prize and had to slide a circular chip down the board to land in one of the bottom slots.

Ken Jennings mocked for using ‘ridiculous’ accent during ‘tense’ Jeopardy! game

“$100,000! Right in the middle!” Drew teased before saying again, “$100 grand! Right in the middle! Good luck!”

He then added, “Come on baby! Get to the middle! Get to the middle! The middle!” before repeating once more, “$100,000 in the middle!”

After the clip was shared on social media, critics told the host he should “stop” what has seemingly become a habit.

“My guy Drew… Do you not know how to express excitement?” one person wrote.

“Bob Barker did the same ugh. Do they have to keep the audience engaged like that?,” a second said.

“Drew really needs to stop saying RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE when Plinko is playing!” another trolled.

The Price is Right Hosts

The Price is Right first came on TV in 1972. Fans fell in love with the game show so much that it has been on for over 50 years. Throughout that time, the show has had a few different hosts. Find out who they are below.

Bob Barker – 1972 to June 2007 (also became executive producer in 1988)

Drew Carey – October 2007 to present

Dennis James – filled in for Bob in 1974 when he missed four episodes, also hosted the nighttime version

Craig Ferguson – 2014 April Fools Day Special

FROM ONE TO ANOTHER

While some people may have been annoyed by Drew, he still offered his wisdom to a fellow host who will be taking over a major spot later this year.

In September, American Idol host Ryan Seacrest, 49, will take over the reins as Wheel of Fortune host.

Pat Sajak, 77, announced his retirement last year after hosting the game show for the past four decades.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Drew was asked if he had advice to share with the podcast host for his upcoming gig.

“Do I have any advice for billionaire Ryan Seacrest?” the comedian replied.

“Who hosts everything all the time? No.”

In addition to American Idol, Ryan has his own radio show and previously hosted Live With Kelly and Ryan.

“Bro, I think you got it. I think you know what to do,” Drew added. “I think you know how to host things. Don’t worry about it.”

“You’re going to be fine.”
