HOST Steve Harvey was shocked after hearing one contestant’s correct answer.
In Friday’s episode of Family Feud, Steve asked contestants to name something bars should give to drunk customers for free.

“More alcohol,” replied one of the contestants, Cedric.
Steve stared blankly at the contestant for a couple of seconds – even putting his flashcards down for a moment.
Eventually, he turned to the board and said “Give ’em some more alcohol!”
It was soon revealed that that was one of the correct answers.
Cedric’s was the third answer on the board, awarding his team six additional points.
The first answer was “Food & Water” which was worth 42 points.
The second answer was “Ride Home” — also worth 42 points.
Cedric reveled in his victory by high-fiving the rest of his teammates, leaving a single answer on the board up for grabs.

The Forbes family couldn’t guess the remaining item on the board, allowing the opposing team to answer.
But the Ham family also incorrectly guessed, moving the game into the sudden death round.

Steve frequently jokes with Family Feud contestants, especially after particularly wild answers.
In another recent episode, the host was speechless by one woman’s answer.
“Name something you wish lasted longer than it does,” he asked.
Contestant Stephanie hit her buzzer, replying, “Sex, Steve.”

Stephanie laughed at Steve’s reaction before it was revealed whether her answer was on the board.
“Sexy Session” appeared as the top answer, giving Stephanie and her family control of the game.

Steve has been known to push the envelope on Family Feud — allowing and egging on contestants who offer playful answers.
The show began in 1976 and is currently hosted by Steve Harvey, drawing nearly eight million viewers per episode.
It won the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Game Show Host three times with Steve in 2014, 2017, and 2022.
Family Feud has had other hosts in the past including Richard Dawson, Ray Combs, and Louie Anderson.
