A Family Feud player has changed Steve Harvey’s mind in real time after he initially doubted her particularly gross, if creative, answer.
The gut-busting game show moment from a recent episode was shared in all its glory on YouTube on Monday.
Steve, 67, asked Shirley’s family to “Name something grandma says grandpa does just like an old dog?”
Her team was doing well, already getting the top three answers on the board (Sleeps/snores, Eats/off floor, farts).
Then came Shirley’s turn.
She said, “I’m gonna go with ‘Raise up his leg and tinkles?’”
Steve, in a chic red suit, slowly turned away in disgust, but the crowd and her teammates were loving it.
“Come on, we’re talking about Grandpa!” she declared, getting backing from her family.
‘RAISE IT UP!’
“Yeah. It’s the same thing. Raise it up!” she exclaimed.
“Oh, I got- I could see where you-” the Family Feud host said.
“Visualize it,” Shirley demanded.
“I got you. I see,” Steve said back.
“You seeing?” Shirley confirmed.
Steve gave in, “Okay, I’m sorry, Miss Shirley. I see.”
“Thank you,” she replied, and he then went in for a high five as she won him over.
“Raise your leg up!” he asked the board, and indeed, it qualified as Number 5 as “Potties.”
“It’s up there! Up there!” family member Danielle shouted.
While Shirley’s next teammate got a red X for “humps,” Grandma Joyce finished it off with “Barking like a dog,” giving them 130 points.
“Well played team!!!” one YouTuber wrote as the clip got 330,000 views. “I thought humps was a great answer!” wrote another.
STERN STEVE
Last week, Steve got stern with a contestant during the lightning round and harshly shut down his guess.
Steve asked Connor, “We asked 100 married men, on a scale of one to ten, when your wife is not around how much do you miss her?”
Connor gave the harsh response, “One.”
The answer came up on the board and Connor smiled.
Steve slowly turned around to the contestant and gave him a scathing look.
Family Feud’s Steve Harvey sternly corrects contestant’s harsh answer on marriage as the player begs to ‘redo’ question
“There’s no way you’re married,” he said and the audience laughed.
“You’re not married are you?” Steve repeated.
Connor shook his head and shrugged his shoulders before adding, “Not yet.”
Steve gave his iconic line “Survey said,” to which the answer was revealed to be at five.
Steve repeated the initial question to Connor and said “Ten. Ten,” indicating that he should have changed his answer.
