STEVE Harvey has been a mainstay on Family Feud for nearly 15 years, but contestants keep leaving the longtime host dumbfounded with their wild answers.

On Thursday’s episode of Family Feud, one contestant failed not once, not twice, and not thrice – but four times in a row – as audience members and viewers at home looked on and laughed at Steve Harvey’s shocking reaction.

After the Snell family failed to steal the de Alba family’s points in the final round of gameplay, the de Alba family chose Holli and Taya to compete in the game show’s Fast Money round.

Holli went first during the Fast Money round, answering all five questions with seconds to spare:

  • We asked 100 women, on a scale of one to 10, how good would your man look in a speedo?
  • Tell me something that might be lumpy
  • Name a tasty, tiny fruit
  • Name something you might not feel safe riding on
  • Name something a bird only has two of
Taya tried to name something lumpy during her turn on Fast Money, but none of her answers – balls, back, butt, and blanket – earned any points for her family

Holli’s answers – five, butt, grape, rollercoaster, and wings – managed to get 14, four, 24, 9, and 50 points respectively.

She got her family just over the halfway mark, earning 101 out of the 200 points needed to win the game – and $20,000.

Taya was up next and nodded as Steve Harvey explained the rules.

“You need 99 [points],” Steve said.

“It really can’t get more even than that,” he added.

After Steve asked her to tell him something that might be lumpy, Taya tried her best not to laugh as she answered “balls,” only to start chuckling as the buzzer sounded.

“Uh…back,” she answered again, shrugging her shoulders while trying to maintain her composure.

After the buzzer went off again, she bit her lip, deep in thought.

“Butt,” she answered, only for the buzzer to sound off for a third time.

Steve went on to read the remaining questions, and after time ran out, repeated the skipped question.

“A blanket,” Taya answered, flashing a smile.

The answer garnered zero points, with Taya visibly upset she didn’t answer differently.

Steve appeared shocked, widening his eyes as his jaw dropped, and the audience laughed in the background.

“[The] number one answer was mashed potatoes,” he said, as Taya groaned.

Taya managed to get only 74 points, bringing the de Alba family just 25 points short of the 200 points needed to win the game.

She scored nine points for answering “10” to the speedo question, nine points for saying “cherry” in response to naming a tiny, tasty fruit, and an additional 19 points for saying “feet” when asked to name something that birds have two of.

Taya also garnered 37 points after responding with “motorcycle” to “something you might not feel safe riding on,” the question’s number one answer.

Still, despite losing the Fast Money round, the de Alba family won’t walk away empty-handed.

At $5 a point, they’ll split $875, and return to face off against another family during Family Feud’s next episode.
