Charles and Timothy made it to the Showcase and bid on various items including trips, cars, poker sets, and more.

Timothy bid $30, 030 for his piker table, a trip to New Orleans, Louisiana, and a car.

The actual price was $37, 807, which made him $7, 777 under.

Charles’ showcase featured a watercraft, a home bar, and trips to Thailand and Croatia.

He bid $24, 500, and the actual price was $35, 626.

This put Charles $11, 126 under the price and made Timothy the winner.

NOT A WINNER

Despite losing the Showcase, Charles looked excited because someone in the crowd had cheered after host Drew Carey read off the price.

He turned towards his wife in the crowd and pointed to himself.

Usually, the contestants who loses, stays back and claps for the winner.

But, this time Charles realized his mistake and probably wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible.

JUMPED THE GUN

Last week, a similar thing happened to another contestant, except this time it was at the bidding podiums.

Contestant Michelle and three others went head-to-head to try and guess the correct price of a refrigerator.

The Price is Right Hosts

The Price is Right first came on TV in 1972. Fans fell in love with the game show so much that it has been on for over 50 years. Throughout that time, the show has had a few different hosts. Find out who they are below.

Bob Barker – 1972 to June 2007 (also became executive producer in 1988)

Drew Carey – October 2007 to present

Dennis James – filled in for Bob in 1974 when he missed four episodes, also hosted the nighttime version

Craig Ferguson – 2014 April Fools Day Special

Michelle was the last to give her bid, guessing $2,401 — just $1 over the third bidder’s guess.

When Drew revealed the “actual price is $2,699,” she ran to celebrate her victory before realizing she actually wasn’t the closest guess.

After noticing her mistake, Michelle walked back to the podium as John, who guessed $2,512, ran up to Drew.

Michelle gave John a high-five for his win.

RIGHT CHOICE!

Despite this happening twice in two weeks on the game show, Drew also experienced a Price is Right first this week.

At the start of Thursday’s Fourth of July episode, a special buzzer went off after four players guessed the price of a grill.

Joseph made a $2,000 bet, and the final guesser, Vintanya, went with one dollar less at $1,999.

Both Drew and Vintanya were equally shocked as he revealed the grill’s exact price to be $1,999.

As the player ran onto the stage, Drew made a confession about his 17 years on the game show.

“Can I just tell you, my whole career here at Price is Right… you’re the first one to go a dollar under and get the exact bid,” Drew told the contestant.

Drew then handed Vintanya $500 for getting the amount on the nose, which was just the start of her success on the show.

She also went on to win a brand-new Buick SUV after playing the game, Cover Up.
