Moving beyond music, Burruss is making waves in the theater world. She’s currently producing Oll, a Broadway show that is breaking records and making history. Reflecting on her journey from a performing arts school to producing Broadway hits, Burruss said she feels immense pride in what she has achieved, particularly in making her family proud. Her teenage self would be amazed at how far she has come.

The success of Oll is also a testament to Burruss’ versatility and ambition. She mentioned how she got involved in producing the show after a conversation between Denzel Washington and the team behind The Piano Lesson. Burruss played a key role in making Denzel’s Broadway return a reality, and now she’s working on making more shows come to life.

Burruss also spoke about her ongoing dreams, including her aspiration to join the ranks of EGOT winners (those who have won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Award). She joked about the idea of becoming the first Housewife to achieve EGOT status and emphasized that there is no limit to what she can accomplish. Her future plans include creating an original whimsical Halloween musical and continuing to make her mark in the entertainment industry.

Lastly, Burruss discussed her work-life balance. She shared that this year, she is focusing on narrowing her business ventures to prioritize the things she loves, especially her work with Oll. The show is currently in previews and officially opens on March 23, running until June 8, just in time for the Tony Awards. Burruss is hopeful that her hard work will lead to her first Tony nomination, and she plans to celebrate the show’s success and the Tony Awards together.
