JEOPARDY! host Ken Jennings has been spotted solo in a new promo clip as the show bids farewell to former host Mayim Bialik.
The Jeopardy! official YouTube account uploads standout moments from episodes, followed by an informational message for viewers.
The short outro at the end used to feature both Ken, 50, and former host Mayim, 48.
Up until this week, the two were seen huddling over the Jeopardy! podium and splitting the script, telling fans to subscribe to the channel.
Mayim, however, was fired from the popular game show at the end of 2023.
RIDIN’ SOLO
Now, Jeopardy! has updated the quick segment placed at the end of its YouTube videos to only feature Ken.
“Hey, thanks for watching. Click on the subscribe button and don’t miss a moment,” Ken now says.
Since Ken has been hosting Jeopardy! alone for all of 2024, many fans were happy to see the clip had been updated.
“New ending without Mayim and only Ken. I wondered when they would get around to changing it,” one person commented on the first video with the new outro.
“New outro! Glad that they finally removed Mayim Bialik!” a second wrote.

BYE, MAYIM
Following the death of longtime host Alex Trebek in 2020, the Big Bang Theory actress and the former champion took over the reins, initially splitting the hosting duties.
Mayim was abruptly let go from Jeopardy! in December, making Ken the sole host.
On December 15, 2023, she announced on Instagram that she had been fired from the show.
“Sony has informed me that I will no longer be hosting the syndicated version of Jeopardy!,” she revealed in her post.
Jeopardy! Host Timeline

Jeopardy! has had a tumultuous history regarding hosts after the death of the iconic Alex Trebek in 2020. Here are all of the hosts since the game show’s inception in 1964.
Art Fleming – 1964 to 1975, he was the original host of the daytime version of Jeopardy! on NBC.
Alex Trebek – 1984 to 2020, the late, great Alex hosted Jeopardy!’s modern iteration for 36 years until his death from pancreatic cancer.
Guest hosts – 2020 to 2021, Jeopardy! tested out a series of guest hosts for week or two-week stints, including Anderson Cooper, LaVar Burton, and Aaron Rodgers.
Mike Richards – 2021, he was named host for one week before resigning amid controversy. He was the show’s executive producer at the time.
Mayim Bialik – 2021 to 2023, when Mike was announced as the show’s new host, Mayim was chosen to host tournaments and primetime specials.
Mayim and Ken Jennings – 2022 to 2023, 74-time champion Ken (the longest-winning contestant ever) joined Mayim as a guest host and they split hosting duties.
Ken Jennings – 2023 to present. Last December, Mayim announced on Instagram that she would “no longer” host Jeopardy! after a lengthy hiatus, having stood with the writer’s strike, and Ken was named sole host.
Ken now helms all editions of Jeopardy! including Celebrity Jeopardy!, the nightly show, and other primetime specials like Masters.
“I am incredibly honored to have been nominated for a primetime Emmy for hosting this year and am deeply grateful for the opportunity to have been part of the Jeopardy! family.
“For all of you who have supported me through this journey and to the fans, contestants, writers, staff of America’s favorite quiz show, thank you.”
Roughly an hour later, the official Jeopardy! Instagram page confirmed the news.
“We have made the decision to have one host for the syndicated show next season to maintain continuity for our viewers,” the statement explained.
“We are truly grateful for all of Mayim’s contributions to Jeopardy!, and we hope to work with her in the future on primetime specials,” the game show wrote.
Ken also spoke out about Mayim’s firing, telling USA Today that he “learned a lot from her.”
“I really enjoyed her hosting,” he added. “But I do understand – there’s a reason why TV shows don’t tend to have two hosts.”
