A NEW game show has fans already calling it out – and it hasn’t even started airing.

The show, from executive producer Kevin Bacon, offers a 50-50 shot at the top prize of $1 million dollars.

ABC has picked up game show Lucky 13 – a true-or-false challenge from the creative team that developed Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?.

Former Orlando Magic star Shaquille O’Neal and actress Gina Rodriguez will host the show, which is currently casting contestants.

The show tests contestants’ knowledge with 13 true-or-false trivia questions but with a twist based on their confidence in their answers, according to Deadline.

If a player can accurately predict how successfully – and unsuccessfully – they’ve answered 13 questions, they could take home a million dollar jackpot.

Wheel of Fortune fans say show ‘won’t be the same without’ Pat Sajak

But first they have to get through the application.

Besides the typical background check are questions requiring free responses to a variety of topics, including “What is your unique and personal motivation for wanting to do the show?” and “Finish this sentence: ‘Even though it’s not true, people always assume that I am…’”

The application also asks for potential players SAT and ACT scores, along with every job they’ve had since high school.

It was enough for one person on Instagram to declare, “This is insane!” before also clarifying, “I’m interested lol. The more unhinged the better.”

HOP ON POP

Lucky 13 isn’t the only new trivia based game show.

Pop Culture Jeopardy! will soon join the syndicated version, Jeopardy! Masters, Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions, and Celebrity Jeopardy!.

ABC slammed by viewers for cutting game shows from fall schedule as Celebrity Jeopardy!

However, the new game show will not air on cable like its counterparts.

Pop Culture Jeopardy! is the first in the franchise to air exclusively on a streaming platform.

Amazon Prime Video will be the show’s home.

The new show will focus on pop culture questions ranging from musicmoviesTVsports, and more.

How to play Lucky 13

How does the show work?

Four couples play for up to $1,300,000.

A qualifying true/false question is asked and the couple with the fastest correct answer plays the Lucky 7 round, made up of seven true/false questions under a timer.

Each correct answer is worth an increasing amount of money, from $1,000 up to $20,000.

Contestants are asked to predict how many of the questions think they got right before their answers are revealed, and correct prediction adds a $10,000 bonus.

The team with the most money can choose to keep their cash or give it up to play Lucky 13 for the grand prize.

CHANGES

And there is one other major change to the new game show.

On any other Jeopardy! iteration, three people compete against each other at one time.

On Pop Culture Jeopardy! more people will have the opportunity to play as they will be in teams.

Three three-person teams will also face off against each other to win money.

Pop Culture Jeopardy! was announced on May 15.
