CELEBRITY Family Feud has celebrated its landmark 100th episode by sharing moments from the game show’s early years.

Family Feud, which launched in 1976, recently honored the Celebrity spinoff’s 10th anniversary and 100th episode.

A new video honoring the achievement featured Chris O’Dell, the head of global entertainment production at Fremantle, and Family Feud showrunner and executive producer Myeshia Mizuno.

The first clip in the Instagram video showed Richard Dawson, the original host of Family Feud who led the game show from 1976-1995.

The late host was seen arriving on set and interacting with players during the formulation years of the show.

Another behind-the-scenes video from the early years of Feud showed Richard surrounded by players or former crew members as he held up two plates of cupcakes.

The late host also stood in front of a giant, round birthday cake that was lit up with candles.

Steve Harvey, 67, has hosted Family Feud and Celebrity Family Feud for 14 years, taking over from John O’Hurley in 2010.

Prior to John, Louie Anderson hosted the show from 1999 to 2002, and Richard Karn took over from 2002 until 2006.

THE SHOW’S SECRET SAUCE

Chris narrated as the video played, explaining how the show took off in the ’90s and has now been to 81 territories around the world.

“There’s a lot of the world that’s watched Family Feud,” he noted.

Myeshia added that a lot of “love and heart” goes into producing Family Feud, which sets it apart from other game shows.

“The ingredients are simple,” Chris added.

“A great host, fantastic contestants, funny, intriguing answers, and you want a team who are passionate and are gonna have fun, because this show is all about fun.”

Myeshia then noted the importance of having an energetic live audience present while taping the episodes.

“That’s one thing that I think brings the show alive in any form, any country, is having a live audience,” she explained.

Chris added that he believes “another 50 years of this show is absolutely in the cards.”

LANDMARK ANNIVERSARY

Celebrity Family Feud celebrated its 10th anniversary during the two-hour Season 10 premiere last week.

The airing featured battling teams for Savage rapper Megan Thee Stallion, 29, and singer Ne-Yo, 44.

The show played vintage best-of-clips from over the years for the first hour of the episode.

At one point, Steve took center stage to give a speech about the show’s landmark achievement.

“Listen, since hosting this show for over 14 years, half of my episodes are considered vintage,” the host joked.

“But there’s no way you can tell they’re vintage looking at me!”

The second hour showed the battle of the Hollywood stars, where Megan even left Steve stuttering at one point.

In the last prompt during the show’s Fast Money segment, Steve asked Megan to “name something that might be curvy.”

“Me,” Megan responded without hesitation.

Realizing she answered too quickly, she attempted to backtrack her answer to be “a body” instead.

Steve immediately began fast-clapping with a cheesy grin as he exclaimed, “Yes!”

The Body rapper then continued to show off her curves for the camera while wearing a skintight red leather ensemble.

“I’m so sorry,” Steve said, adding, “I don’t know what… I don’t know why I clapped. I just… I don’t know what…”

After stuttering over his words, viewers joked that Steve would be in some serious trouble with his wife, Marjorie Harvey when he got home.
