A WHEEL of Fortune contestant has brought some NFL-style smack-talk to Wednesday’s episode, leaving fans and host Pat Sajak momentarily stunned.
The game show is raising the stakes with a Superfan Tournament where the week’s highest scorers face off on Friday for a major prize.
Rushing the field were Chiefs fan and mom-of-two Deanna, Patriots fan and dad-of-two Trustin, and Eagles fan and mom-of-one (with a “tender” wife) Mashika.
Pat, 77, couldn’t resist teasing Mashika about being a Philadelphia Eagles fan in California during her interview.
He asked if she’d been “going around to various places,” to which she had a savage reply.
She said: “Yeah, I actually just went to Las Vegas to watch them beat the Cowgirls, which we succeeded.”
Pat was near-speechless and exclaimed: “She’s making trouble. She said it, I didn’t!”
Viewers were equally astonished, with one X user writing: “This woman in Wheel of Fortune tonight is something else. Omg.”
Another posted: “Did the Eagles fan on @WheelofFortune just say she went to Vegas to watch the Eagles beat the Cowgirls?”
However, it was Deanna, sporting a Travis Kelce jersey, who emerged victorious with $32,650 after acing the triple toss-ups.
She shouted in celebration when it was announced she was going to the bonus puzzle as Pat feared for his safety: “I could have gotten killed.”
Opting for the category “Food and Drink,” Deanna took a shot at the bonus puzzle with the letters D, C, F, and I.

Despite missing out on an additional $40,000 by not solving “Savory Pies and Cakes,” she might return for more big money later in the week.
CHANGING THE GAME!
Wheel of Fortune changed up its format ahead of Super Bowl Sunday, and fans are into it.
The Superfan Tournament sees the three highest-scoring players face off in a final on Friday.
The overall winner gets a VIP trip to Super Bowl VII.
Tuesday’s champ, Buffallo Bills fan Jill won $63,000 so she’s looking like an early favorite.
The intro includes a contestant bracket, announcer Jim Thorton got an ESPN-style booth on stage, and the puzzles are NFL-themed.
Not only is the change heightening the stakes, but it’s also a major shakeup for the game show, which usually does not have returning champions.
“The NFL edition of Wheel of Fortune is not bad at all,” an additional social media user posted.
