JEOPARDY!’s 41st season is here, and viewers who want answers (sadly not in the form of questions) have come to the right place.
Here’s everything to know about the brand-new season of the iconic game show.
When does the new season of Jeopardy! premiere?
Jeopardy!’s current season officially premiered on Monday, September 9, 2024.
Rachel Bradley, the one-day champion when Season 40 ended for annual summer reruns, returned.
Season 41 will last 11 months, with the season finale officially airing on Friday, July 25, 2025.
New episodes air every weeknight (even on major U.S. holidays) at 7 p.m. EST.
Syndicated or nightly Jeopardy! is hosted by G.O.A.T contestant Ken Jennings.
Season 41 marks Ken’s first as the singular host as actress Mayim Bialik was dismissed as co-host midway through last season.
He’s joined by the one-and-only Johnny Gilbert, 96, as the announcer.
Each night’s contestants can be found at the online Contestant Zone.

Where can I watch new episodes of Jeopardy?
Fans can watch Jeopardy! by subscribing to cable. Check your local listings here.
Those without a cable subscription can tune in via YouTube TV or Hulu+ Live TV.
Jeopardy! has no current streaming agreements with non-live TV plans, as the show is famously unavailable outside of cable.
Past episodes were previously available with PlutoTV, but the platform recently ended its Jeopardy! channel.
However, producers recently teased a new streaming agreement, so fans who’ve cut the cord may be in luck soon.
When is the Tournament of Champions scheduled to air?
Fans with “tournament fatigue” can rest easy knowing that Season 41 will emphasize new players again.
Unlike the previous season, Season 41 primarily consists of the tried-and-true format.
The first of the season will be regular-style games of brand-new contestants- not tournaments.
Then, the 2025 Tournament of Champions (preceded by the Second Chance Competition and Champions Wildcard) will be held in winter, midway through the season.
Tournament play will be three months long and air in one large block.
The 2025 ToC and its surrounding events air from early January 2025 until late February or early March 2025.
The ToC will mix players from Season 40 and the first half of Season 41.
After the ToC, the second annual Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament airs from March 2025 to April 2025.
These four tournaments will be the only tournaments this season.
The return to form comes after a frustrating 40th season dominated by tournament play.
Last season’s barrage of new tournaments was partly due to the WGA strike and partly because the show is becoming more tournament-based.
The change for Season 41 also ensures enough players for the 2025 Tournament of Champions.
After tournaments conclude, regular episodes will resume for four months until the season ends.
When does Celebrity Jeopardy! air?
Celebrity Jeopardy! has been renewed for a third season in primetime on ABC.
Celebrity Jeopardy! is expected to air in early 2025 instead of in the fall.
No host is attached yet, but Ken – who hosted Season 2 while Mayim hosted Season 1 – will likely be its frontman.
Jeopardy! Masters Season 3 is expected to air in primetime on ABC in May 2025.
The special is guaranteed to have contestants Victoria Groce, Yogesh Raut, James Holzhauer, and three more TBD players.
The fourth Master will be the winner of the 2025 Tournament of Champions, the fifth will be the winner of the 2025 JIT, and the sixth will be a Producer’s Pick.
The Jeopardy!-verse is also expanding with the brand-new Pop Culture Jeopardy! hosted by Colin Jost on Amazon Prime Video.
How can I learn more about Jeopardy?
Here are other ways to stay up to date on the show.
The official Inside Jeopardy! podcast releases new episodes every Monday.
Inside Jeopardy! is hosted by producer Sarah Whitcomb Foss and former champion Buzzy Cohen.
The podcast gets into show announcements, recaps every episode and has interviews with big winners.
Senior Researcher and Gameplay Analyst Michael Harris will also co-host in a new twist.
Harris is joining the podcast for its third year, and fans can expect him to dive into rulings and explain show moments in detail.
Fans can also follow the show’s YouTube to see each night’s Final Jeopardy!, its Instagram, X, and Facebook.
After years of drama in succeeding the late Alex Trebek, Season 41 is all about fresh faces and Ken settling in as sole host.
