Jessica Alba is broadening her horizons amid her divorce from Cash Warren.

The Dark Angel star, 43, took to Instagram on Wednesday, March 26, to document a recent trip to Mexico City and teased that the Mexican capital may be her “new home away from home.”

“Forever memories made – feeling connected, satiated and nourished 🤍🥰 #CDMX might just be my new home away from home,” Alba captioned a carousel of photos and videos from the trip.

It seems Alba’s getaway was highly therapeutic. As well as sightseeing and indulging in local delicacies with friends, the actress snapped a picture of her and her pals meditating.

In the last slide, Alba shared a meme that read, “Healing wounds as a child,” followed by a picture of a band-aid. To the right, the meme said, “Healing wounds as a grownup: Trip to Mexico.”

In another slide, the Fantastic Four star shared some words of affirmation with her followers. “You are the woman your ancestors prayed for,” read a quote in blue font set against a light green background. “They dreamed of you. A woman free enough to speak her truth, soft enough to feel her heart, and powerful enough to break through every curse they couldn’t.”

In January, TMZ reported that Alba and Warren, 46, had separated after 16 years of marriage. The couple share three children, daughters Honor, 16, and Haven, 13, and son Hayes, 7.

“I’ve been on a journey of self-realization and transformation for years — both as an individual and in partnership with Cash,” Alba wrote in an Instagram statement at the time. “I’m proud of how we’ve grown in our marriage over the last 20 years and it’s now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals.”

She added, “We are moving forward with love, kindness and respect for each other and will forever be family. Our children remain our highest priority and we request privacy at this time.”

A month later, Us Weekly confirmed that the estranged spouses had filed for divorce. According to court docs obtained by Us on February 7, Alba and Warren asked the court to determine what was community property, which will have to be divided. The date of separation was listed as December 27, 2024, and they hoped to keep things as amicable as possible.
