A TRAGIC final video of the beloved US gospel group The Nelons shows the family standing in front of the doomed jet before it crashed.
Heartbreaking footage taken by legendary singer Jason Nelon Clark shows six of the seven fireball plane crash victims laughing and joking around just hours before they all plunged to their deaths.
The horror accident on Friday left three members of the Grammy-nominated family dead as they were en route to a concert in Alaska.
Jason, Kelly Nelon Clark, and their daughter Amber Nelon Kistler were all on board at the time of the accident that left no survivors.
Amber’s husband Nathan Kistler, the family’s assistant Melodi Hodges pilot Larry Haynie and wife Melissa also died.
The group were on their way to the Gaither Homecoming Cruise when their plane crashed over Wyoming – sparking a huge wildfire when it collided with the ground.
Hours before the tragic crash a short clip was shared to The Nelons social media accounts.
Jason, Kelly, and Amber can be seen smiling in the post captioned, “Gaither Alaskan Cruise Travel Vlog.”
Melodi, Larry, and Melissa can also be seen in the footage.
Amber’s husband Nathan Kistler was also on board the flight when it crashed but it is unclear where he was at the time of the recording.
Jason says in the short clip, “Gaither Homecoming Alaskan Cruise, we are on our way. We just landed in Nebraska.”
His wife Kelly can be heard laughing along with their friends before the camera is then flipped around to show the pilot.
Jason continues, “There’s our wonderful pilot. This is the dude right there.”
The clip ends with the group saying they are about to go and eat in Nebraska City before heading back off toward Montana for a second stop.
The Nelons’ fourth member, Autumn Nelon Streetman, wasn’t on the plane at the time.
She released a statement in the hours after the crash confirming the tragic deaths.
Autumn said, “As many of you have heard by now, my father and mother, Jason and Kelly Nelon Clark, along with my sister, Amber, and brother-in-law, Nathan, as well as our dear friends Melodi Hodges, Larry, and Melissa Haynie, were involved in a tragic plane crash on Friday.
“Thank you for the prayers that have been extended already to me, my husband, Jamie, and our soon-to-be-born baby boy, as well as Jason’s parents, Dan and Linda Clark.
“We appreciate your continued prayers, love, and support as we navigate the coming days.”
The jet was a Pilatus PC-12/47E owned by Haynie Enterprises, according to Flight Aware.
The National Transportation Safety Board is now set to investigate the crash.
Widely regarded as one of the iconic families in US gospel history The Nelons were inducted into the Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame in 2016.
Some of their biggest hits include I Shall Not Be Moved, Come Morning, and We Shall Wear a Robe and Crown.
They have also earned three Grammy nominations throughout their career.
