AWARD-WINNING actress Scarlett Johansson has been linked to a number of A-list celebs including Ryan Reynolds who was her first husband.

But between that marriage and her current one to SNL writer Colin Jost, she was married to Romain Dauriac for three years.

Who is Romain Dauriac?

Romain Dauriac, 43, was born on July 3, 1982 in France.

Outside of being known as Johansson’s ex-husband, he is a journalist and art show curator.

He was the editor of the French magazine Clark and then went on to start his own independent creative advertising agency.

Why did Romain Dauriac and Scarlett Johansson get divorced?

Scarlett and Romain began dating in 2012, and were engaged the following year.

In 2017, Scarlett stunned fans when she filed for divorce and just a month later romance rumours swirled about the actress and Colin.

A source told US Weekly after the announcement in 2017 that “Scarlett initiated splitting up and made the decision. She felt like they didn’t have much in common as far as lifestyle.”

A source close to Romain then later told People the same thing.

“I’ve been expecting this for some time. Romain and Scarlett has never made sense to me,” the source said.

After the news of her divorce went public, the actress made it very well known that she was not going to speak to the media about what actually happened between the two.

“As a devoted mother and private person and with complete awareness that my daughter will one day be old enough to read the news about herself, I would only like to say that I will never, ever be commenting on the dissolution of my marriage,” she told ET in a statement.

“Out of respect for my desires as a parent and out of respect for all working moms, it is with kindness that I ask other parties involved and the media to do the same. Thank you.”

Do Romain Dauriac and Scarlett Johansson have children?

While married, the couple had one child together, Rose Dorothy Dauriac who was born in 2014.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight she said: “I don’t profess to know anything about parenting, anything more than anybody else, [but] being a working mom is an incredible challenge, [and] it’s an incredible gift.”

In July 2021, rumors started to spread that Scarlett was pregnant with her second child.

The rumors were later confirmed by her current husband, Colin, in August 2021 and just a few days later, they welcomed their first child together, a son named Cosmo.
