The mom of three still owes thousands to Uncle Sam

TEEN Mom: Next Chapter star Maci Bookout has sold her Tennessee property containing two homes for $240,000 – earning a $50,000 profit in the process, The U.S. Sun can exclusively report.

The MTV reality star and mother of three, 33, made the big purchase without husband Taylor McKinney back in 2021, and seemingly used the property as an investment.

Maci originally bought the two cottages on one acre of land on November 5, 2021 for $190,000.

According to property records, each home is 525 square feet.

Three years later, the Teen Mom star sold the property to a local Tennesee businessman for $240,000 on December, 18 2024, and Maci made $50,000 from the transaction.

Maci, Taylor and her kids Bentley, 16, Jayde, nine, and Maverick, eight, live in a massive mansion nearby with four bedrooms and four baths.

The couple also owns 48 acres of land in Cleveland, Tennessee that they purchased in June 2021 for $339,000.

In 2023, Taylor bought a $22,000 plot of land, built a home on it, put the property on the market for nearly $400,000.

STARS IN DEBT

Despite Maci’s big reality TV paycheck and real estate income, she and Taylor have some significant debts.

In June, The U.S. Sun exclusively reported that Maci owes $736,000 in back taxes.

She had five unreleased liens, and three connected with Taylor.

A clerk for Hamilton County confirmed the liens have not yet been paid off.

Now, The U.S. Sun can report Maci and Taylor owe property taxes on their $339,000 plot of land.

According to records, they owe $293 for 2024, $345 for 2023 and $456 for 2021.

For 2022, they owe $5,467 including $1,491 interest.

In total, their property taxes and charges are now $6,561.

BIG HAPPY FAMILY

Though Maci and Taylor may have financial issues to sort, the couple has hashed through their major family problems.

After years of feuding with her baby daddy Ryan Edwards, the couple is now close to him and his fiancee, Amanda Conner.

Following his long addiction battle, Ryan will soon celebrate two years sober, and recently welcomed a baby girl with Amanda.

She even invited Maci to her baby shower, which was covered on Teen Mom: Next Chapter this week.

“I think it’s naturally on its own time, we’ve been able to build a solid foundation,” Maci recently told Us Weekly. “Everything is going really well and I kind of feel like the audience deserves to see this.”
