STEVIE Nicks had to cancel her show in Hershey, Pennsylvania last minute due to an illness in her band.
The Fleetwood Mac singer, who is currently on tour, posted a statement on Saturday evening about the last-minute decision for that night’s show.
“Regrettably, due to illness in the band, tonight’s performance is being postponed. Please hold on to your tickets,” Stevie, 76, told followers in a message originally shared by the venue.
She also told fans that the show, planned for Hersheypark Stadium, would be rescheduled soon.
The show was a part of her current self-titled tour across North America.
UNSATISFIED FANS
Since hearing news of the cancelation, some fans have been asking for refunds.
“Was in line waiting for fours to open and wow last second cancellation!!! Over 1 hour to get out of parking lot!! Next time maybe not such last second!!” one person raged on X.
“This was so unfair. The right thing to do is get a statement from her and [100] refunds,” a second tweeted.
“I’m so heartbroken over this, it’s a dream of mine to finally see her live,” wrote a third.
“I think you need to have a backup band member for Stevie and an MD travel with older performers-whole weekend planned around this for lots of $$$ and time,” a fourth suggested.
Other concertgoers were upset that they didn’t receive an e-mail or text about the cancelation, noting how there had already been tailgaters outside of the venue.
“Apparently, they decided to postpone it at 9 AM. The venue dropped the ball. It definitely sucks,” one person tweeted.

“They shouldn’t have let people come, park, & tailgate; they should have at least sent emails or texts prior. The parking lots were full to the max with tailgaters,” they added.
The official X account for Hershey Entertainment Venues responded, clarifying that they did not cancel the show at 9 am.
“We did however update a previously shared post from earlier this morning to reflect the show update, in the event that showgoers may not have seen the more recently shared post,” the venue explained.
The user then noted how the update “should have been sent via email or text, as the place where we purchased tickets has all our information to do so.”
STEVIE’S LEGACY
The rock legend is set to perform her next concert on Tuesday at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Her following show will take place in Chicago, Illinois on Friday before she heads off to Europe.
Stevie has been called “The Queen of Rock and Roll” for over four decades, becoming one of the most well-known singer/songwriters of her generation.
She has sold over 150 albums worldwide between her time with Fleetwood Mac and her solo career, which she began in 1981.
Stevie joined Fleetwood Mac in 1974 after it had been around for roughly seven years.
The band earned multiple Grammy Award nominations and secured a win for its 1977 album, Rumours.
Stevie was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Fleetwood Mac in 1998, and again in 2019 as a solo artist.
