MADONNA has sparked speculation that she is engaged after showing off a huge diamond band on her ring finger.

The Queen of Pop, 66, jetted to Tokyo for New Year with her boyfriend, former footballer Akeem Morris, 28, and shared photos — including the eye-popping jewellery.

The couple have been dating for just six months, having gone public with their romance last July.

They were joined on the holiday by her children Lourdes, 28, Rocco, 24, David, 19, Mercy, 18, and twins Estere and Stella, 12.

A source said: “Madonna is happier than she has been in a long time.

“Her romance with Akeem has been a real whirlwind but they are so in love.

“She’s not back from her trip yet but her pals wouldn’t be surprised if it really is an engagement ring.”

The ring is from the brand ­Bijules, which offers bespoke bridal bands among its jewellery.

Madonna was married to actor Sean Penn, 64, from 1985 to 1989, and then director Guy Ritchie, 56, from 2000 to 2008.

Asked during a Q&A in 2022 about a life decision which “wasn’t the best idea,” she said: “Getting married. Both times.”

She met Jamaican-born Akeem on a photoshoot for Paper magazine in August 2022, after she split from boyfriend of three years, dancer Ahlamalik Williams, 30.

Since becoming a couple, they have also enjoyed romantic holidays to London and Italy.

Madonna is believed to want to “live life to the full” after a near-fatal bacterial infection in 2023 which landed her in intensive care.

She recently teased she will release her first album in six years this year after teaming up with producer Stuart Price again.

She made her 2005 record Confessions On A Dancefloor with him.

Madonna did not respond when approached for comment.
