This was after she confirmed that she secretly underwent brutal weight loss surgery.

After months of speculation after her notably slimmer appearance Remi, 30, has finally confirmed she went under the knife.

The TikTok influencer opened up to Self on her long journey after her single anastomosis duodenal-ileal bypass surgery.

Her operation was combined with sleeve gastrectomy, which usually involves removing ‘around 80% of her stomach’.

The model and influencer did not have the most pleasant experience when she was rushed to the hospital.

“I need to say that it was the most brutal thing,” she told the outlet.

“I get the surgery. I was in recovery hours, hours, hours, hours, throwing up. It was not normal.

“I was supposed to leave in one day. I could not stop projectile vomiting, and I couldn’t drink water.”

She added: “They won’t let you leave [the hospital] if you can’t drink water, I actually can’t explain how horrible it was.”

She later revealed that it wasn’t until three full days later when doctors finally discharged her.

“They didn’t know what to do. They saw how sick I was. No one knew what to do.”

The internet personality went to stay with her parents to recover post surgery.

After three full days, she was discharged and went to stay with her parents to recover.

Although her condition has since improved from the operation, she has been forced to completely overhaul her lifestyle.

“My binge eating is better, [but] I’m still struggling and I have those thoughts,” she admitted.

“I can’t physically binge as much because I [just] don’t have the room for it. You cannot drink and eat within the same 30 minutes.

She added: “Sometimes I’m out to dinner with friends, and I run to the bathroom.

“It’s also hard; I’m going to these events and dinners, and I’m constantly getting sick.”

Since September 2023, Bader has not spoken publicly about her weight and health.

At the time she was left sobbing by trolls as she begged them to stop the “ridiculous … body-shaming” over her figure.

She exclaimed: “My health journey will now be my business, it’s really not fair to just see really mean, mean things. I’m taking care of myself the best that I can.”

However, she opened up more on Wednesday’s edition of the Khloe in Wonder Land podcast with Khloe Kardashian.

On the show, Remi explained that she lost “more than 140 pounds in less than a year.”
