ACTOR Tom Holland pushes his husband credentials for his new fiancée — as he gets in the groceries.

The Spider-Man star was seen for the first time since Zendaya wore an engagement ring at the Golden Globes.

He was dressed in a cap, hoodie and jeans while ­wheeling a heaving trolley at a ­London supermarket.

Tom and Zendaya, both 28, have dated since starring in Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017.

Tom’s dad Dominic, 57, said his son “was incredibly well- prepared” before popping the question.

Comedian Dominic said the pair handle the spotlight with “aplomb”, adding: “I am ­completely confident they will make a successful union.”

Earlier in the week, Dune actress Zendaya sparked speculation after debuting a sparkling diamond on her ring finger at the Golden Globes on Sunday.

Tom’s dad then cleared up speculation on Friday when he wrote a blog post about his son’s proposal.

In the post that confirmed his son’s engagement, he contrasted how Tom approached his proposal to how he handled his proposal to Tom’s mother Nikki.

Writing on his Patreon account, Dominic penned: “Tom, as you know by now was very incredibly well prepared. He had purchased a ring.

“He had spoken with her father and gained permission to propose to his daughter.

“Tom had everything planned out… When, where, how, what to say, what to wear…

“I on the other hand was woefully ill-prepared, almost as though I wasn’t taking it seriously.”

Tom’s father then went on to say how he has worried about how the spotlight could put a strain on their relationship.
