JUSTIN Bieber has shut down speculation he is struggling with a defiant message via his publicist.
The Sorry singer, 30, has caused concern over the last two weeks, appearing withdrawn with “sunken eyes” during outings in New York and Los Angeles.
However, amid online speculation, the star – who kicked abuse of prescription pills and other illicit substances in 2014 – had relapsed, he’s now spoken out to squash any rumors at the root.
Speaking to TMZ, his reps said the speculation was “absolutely not true” and he’s actually in “one of the best places in his life”.
They go on to say that he is enjoying being an active parent to his five-month-old son, Jack Blues, with wife Hailey, while cutting out friendships and business partnerships that “no longer served him”
They added Bieber was even working on new music – five years since his last album, Justice – after a “transformative” year.
The reps added it was a late night session in the recording studio in New York that left him with a tired appearance the next morning – where he was snapped looking drowsy with dark circles under his eyes – coupled with him trying to get his baby to sleep.
The team declared the rumors about potential drug use “exhausting and pitiful” and added: “[It] shows that despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive.”
Justin has been seen out in LA across the last week with friends including Dave Chappelle, shortly after he was seen in New York wearing a dressing gown and slippers around the streets of Manhattan.
He and Hailey have had to repeatedly shut down concerns their relationship is in trouble, with the pair hitting back at the allegations their six-year marriage is on the rocks.
The couple have put on a united front on nights out together as well as social media.
In December, Justin sparked rumors the pair could be splitting when shared a video on Instagram with the caption: “Co-parenting is failing . . . like tf.”

Typically, co-parenting is reserved for those who are sharing responsibilities for a child after a break-up.
In January, speculation spiked again when it was revealed Justin had unfollowed his wife on Instagram as part of a mass cull of who he keeps track of, but he later broke his silence to say someone else must have done it.
“SOMEONE WENT ON MY ACCOUNT AND UNFOLLOWED MY WIFE,” he wrote.
“S**T IS GETTING SUSS OUT HERE.”
Hailey further quashed any rumors about a break-up by sharing that the entire family were in Aspen, Colorado for a vacation, posting pictures of Justin as proof.
