A COMMUTER was left stunned on the train after a huge Netflix star stroked her dog.

The person filmed her little pooch, which was on a lead, sniffing around the man’s feet as he reached down to stroke it.

He was dressed in an indie style with a stripy jumper, blue jeans and trainers, and the woman captioned her clip: “random man petting my dog looks weirdly familiar”.

The familiar face smiled at her and looked to be enjoying his encounter with her pooch.

Later, she learned it was none other than The Crown star Josh O’Connor.

One person commented on the clip: “Josh O’Connor never beating the cutie sweetie allegations.”

Another said: “Girl your dog was trying to set you up!!”

A third posted: “Sorry I know him from challengers and my mind got excited.”

A fourth added: “Babe that’s Prince Charles.”

Josh famously played the future King in the royal drama over 13 episodes.

He’s also starred on the big screen with Zendaya in a raunchy tennis flick, Challengers, and opposite Kate Winslet in a wartime biopic, Lee.

This year he will appear in Rebuilding as Dusty, a cowboy who loses his ranch in wildfires.

In November we exclusively revealed how Josh was dating Saltburn actress Alison Oliver after he was spotted holding hands with the 27-year-old Irish actress in northern Italy.

The pair were seen strolling through the city of Bologna where they stopped to take a selfie while meeting fans at a film and photography library.

A source said: “Josh and Alison have a lot in common and have enjoyed getting to know each other away from the spotlight.

“Despite their huge roles, they prefer hanging out in libraries rather than big glamorous events.”

Josh was also a guest at Alison’s sister Lauren’s wedding in Bermondsey, South London, in September.
