PUDDLE Of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin has claimed he was drugged by a bandmate after a car crash performance.
The troubled rocker, 52, addressed a poor performance during Daytona Bike Week, Florida, which allegedly resulted in the venue refusing to book the band again.

He was quizzed about the gig by Rock Feed on the sidewalk the following day and admitted he sounded horrible, before making a concerning claim.
Wes said, “I suck, I suck and I suck… but I was roofied.”
“My old bass player Sean Sammon roofied me last night, so he can go f**k his ass.”
The musician then put his middle fingers up at the camera and ran away.
To be roofied is a slang term for being given the anxiety drug Rohypnol, which can causes extreme drowsiness, without consent.
Sammon was a member of the band from 1991 to 2000. The Sun has contacted him for comment.
Fans of the group were concerned, with one writing on Instagram, “Come on Wes you were doing good there for awhile. Get help bro.”
Another said, “Dude needs some help, that’s sad.”
A third wrote, “A guy with a fantastic voice who’s just struggling with different issues. Hope he finds the help he needs!”
The post-grunge band are best known for early noughties hits She Hates Me and Blurry.
Scantlin’s troubled personal life has overshadowed the band’s success with a number of arrests throughout his career.
He’s been arrested for cocaine possession, being intoxicated on a flight and for driving under the influence.
And in 2007 he was banned from Elvis Presley‘s Graceland for life after he entered a pool not accessible to the public.
In 2017 he was arrested for allegedly trying to board a plane with a BB gun.
Last year he had a stand off with a SWAT team in California after being pulled over for a traffic violation.
The situation escalated after he refused to leave his vehicle and the team deployed non-deadly munitions to coax him out.
In 2020 he insisted he’d turned a corner by finding God, telling Soundsphere, “First and foremost, keep God first place all the time, and believe that he is with you and he is giving you the gift and just pay attention and listen and be a good student of God and everything, in the end, will work out perfectly.”
