DAVID “Ace” Cannon, known for being a beloved radio show co-host, passed away aged 56 on Tuesday February 4, 2025.
Before delving into the world of FM radio the musical artist met his wife Amanda – here’s what we know about her.
The couple tied the knot four years after meeting with Amanda describing their romance as “love at first sight”.
After divorcing his first wife, Shonnette, the Ace & TJ Show host pledged to never marry again.
Who is David’s wife Amanda?
Amanda is a personal trainer from Moresville, North Carolina.
The pair met in the summer of 2017 after Amanda’s wedding to her college sweetheart was called off.

The pair have since joked about how they have been mistaken for being father and daughter.
When did the pair make it official?
In February 2020, Ace proposed to Amanda in a restaurant outside Brooklyn Bridge, New York City, after playing a song he had written to her.
She was 24 years his junior and the couple officially tied the knot in 2021.
David originally thought he would never re-marry after divorcing his first wife and Amanda faced backlash for being an alleged “gold-digger”.
He had his vasectomy reversed so the pair could have a baby together.
In June 2023, the couple welcomed their baby son.
