The star took the stage with his chiseled jawline and thin frame on full display.

He wore a white T-shirt with a sharp black blazer over top.

Randy accessorized with fashionable glasses and a bejeweled pin on his lapel.

As the show aired on Fox, viewers took to social media to react to the star’s appearance.

The singing competition judge shed more than 120 pounds to help with his type 2 diabetes.

Randy was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in 2002, and underwent gastric bypass surgery the following year.

Kelly, 53, and Mark, 52, did not talk about Randy’s health during their sit-down.

Prior to his surgery, Randy weighed in at 350 pounds.

He has spoken openly with fans about his struggles, detailing the challenges he faced due to his weight in his 2008 self-help book, Body With Soul.

“It’s a curse to be saddled with a disease that’s life-threatening and that you can’t completely get rid of, though you can certainly manage it,” the star wrote.

“But it’s a blessing to get that huge wake-up call.”

He continued, “After that day in the ER, when my doctor burst the bubble I’d been living in, I couldn’t like to myself anymore.”

“Right then and there, I began my journey toward better health.”

Fans first took notice of Randy’s weight loss in May 2022.

He appeared alongside Paula Abdul, serving as judges after American Idol alums, including Laine Hardy, David Cook, and Jordin Sparks, performed duets in honor of the show’s 20th anniversary.

Paula, 62, and Randy were judges on the early seasons of American Idol alongside Simon Cowell.
