Jennifer Lopez is a lot of things, and she seems to excel at all of them. She’s a super-famous celebrity who triggers hysteria whenever she steps out in public, she’s a singer, songwriter, actress, producer, and widely successful businesswoman. She’s a mother and four-time wife, a fitness fanatic and an inspiration for her legions of fans. Jennifer Lopez is an icon of female empowerment and fashion, and a solid example that hard work and even harder hustling can turn a decent vocalist into a powerhouse entertainer.

What Jennifer Lopez is most definitely not is a car girl. She has never been, and while that’s not a topic she often opens up about, she admitted on a couple of occasions that she’s, more or less, too busy to drive herself. When ex-fiance Alex Rodriguez gifted her a previous-gen 911 Carrera GTS Cabrio on her birthday in 2019, JLo hadn’t driven herself for 25 years.

That’s not to say, though, that she doesn’t own cars or, heaven forbid, that they’re not customized to the tastes of the woman believed to be among the biggest divas in showbiz, both in the good and negative sense of the word. In fact, JLo owns an entire personal fleet of only custom cars, and they’re all used to drive her around wherever she happens to be.

With summer here, JLo and her kids are in The Hamptons, with the rest of the Hollywood elite. Apparently, it’s also here that she’s been keeping one of the most surprising (but still awesome) units in her auto collection, the copper Jeep Wrangler West Coast Customs built for her.

Again, perhaps surprisingly, JLo and WWC go a long way back, though their collab is neither as lucrative nor as publicized as the one between, say, Kim Kardashian and Platinum Motorsports. Most notably, they customized a Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe for her and the Wrangler, but it could be that they did more vehicles but just never went public with the news.

The Wrangler is an old one, being first revealed in 2013. It’s a lifted copper-finished four-door with an ultra-elegant all-leather interior, riding on massive Continentals. Even the hubcaps are custom – and painted a matching shade, with stars in the center. Though the collaboration is old and WWC has posted about it on social media at least three times since it was completed, no details were ever released.

But we do know this: Jennifer Lopez still has it and loves it. The other day, the star was photographed with one of her children running errands in The Hamptons and, why yes, they were being driven around in the massive Wrangler, which celebrity media misidentifies as “gold.”

Since the 2013 delivery, she has replaced the solid doors with tube doors with leather straps, which add an even beastlier tone to an already beastly vehicle. If she aims to fly under the radar, this is definitely not the way to do it.
