Singer Billie Eilish is widely tipped to win her 10th Grammy Award in less than a decade during the ceremony in Los Angeles on Feb. 2—but despite her phenomenal success, the 23-year-old maintains an incredibly modest property portfolio and actually still resides at home with her parents.
Unlike many of her popstar peers Eilish, who is reported to have a net worth of around $50 million, has not readily splashed the cash on multiple megamansions, instead opting to remain at the charming dwelling where she wrote much of her debut album alongside brother Finneas O’Connell.
Eilish, whose real name is Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O’Connell, is nominated for seven awards at the 67th Grammys—including a nod in the prestigious Album Of the Year category, in which she will go up against the likes of Beyoncé, Charli XCX, Sabrina Carpenter, and Taylor Swift.
The “Birds of a Feather” songstress snapped up her first Grammys at the age of 18, becoming the youngest artist to ever win one of the awards—just months after she released her debut album, “When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?”
Much of that album, including the title track, was written inside Eilish’s childhood home—a two-bedroom, one-bathroom property that her mom, Maggie Baird, and dad, Patrick O’Connell, purchased for $240,000 back in 2001.
Today, Eilish is understood to still reside in that property, despite having purchased her own abode—explaining in a 2023 podcast interview: “I like my parents being around.”

Billie Eilish’s Family Home In Highland Park
Eilish’s family purchased their home in Los Angeles’ Highland Park neighborhood just a few months before she was born—snapping up the property in August 2001, according to records.
The two-bedroom, one-bathroom home spans 1,208 square feet and comes complete with a fireplace.
Because the property only has two bedrooms, Eilish’s parents moved into the living room so that each of their children could have their own space, Finneas revealed in a previous interview.
And while much of Eilish’s life has changed since her earliest childhood years, her love of the abode has never stopped, with the chart-topper explaining in a 2022 interview with V Magazine that her lifestyle inside the property remained as normal as can be.
“My relationship with my home has not changed, just like with my parents and my brother,” she said. “I think it’s a bit jarring for some people who grew up with me or haven’t seen me in a long time. … They come over to see us and see that it’s exactly the same.
“It’s as if you walked in here and it’s 2003.”
Today, the home serves as a perfectly preserved time capsule of Eilish’s album-writing process—and she revealed in a previous interview with AWAL that she even recorded her first major songs, including “Ocean Eyes,” inside her brother’s makeshift studio in his bedroom.
Eilish also revealed that one of the walls still has a list of the tracks from her debut album on them.
In 2019, Eilish’s beloved family home’s address was leaked online, prompting a group of fans to flock to the property.
The artist then appointed a security guard to sleep in the living room to help her family feel safer. At the time, she told Rolling Stone: “It was really traumatizing. I completely don’t feel safe in my house anymore, which sucks.
“I love my house. I’ve loved attention my whole life but I don’t think anyone knows what fame actually is. Because if I did want to be famous it wasn’t this kind.”
In 2023, Eilish’s family was again traumatized when a man jumped the fence and entered her property. The man allegedly began rifling through some of the family’s belongings before the cops showed up and arrested him.
Is this Billie Eilish’s Glendale estate?

Furious speculation surrounded the purchase of a stunning horse farm that previously belonged to Leona Lewis, with many pointing to Eilish as the buyer. (Realtor.com)

Although she lives with her parents, the songstress is believed to have purchased a stunning home in 2019, when she was around 17 years old—a milestone moment that even featured in her second album, “Happier Than Ever.”
In the song “NDA,” Eilish sings: “I bought a secret house when I was 17, haven’t had a party since I got the keys.”
It has never been confirmed which home Eilish purchased, however, all clues lead to the property being the former residence of singer Leona Lewis.
According to property records, Lewis sold the home for $2.3 million in 2019; but the buyer’s name was never revealed.
The home—which is just 10 minutes away from Eilish’s family home—is 2,100 square feet and is the perfect place for a horse lover like the singer.

The main house has three bedrooms and three bathrooms along with glass doors that give residents sweeping views of the lavish pool.
