MAGGIE Sajak has leaked new Celebrity Wheel of Fortune contestants ahead of her dad Pat’s final season.

Pat Sajak, 77, recently handed off Wheel of Fortune hosting duties to new host Ryan Seacrest but still has another year of hosting the celebrity edition of the game show.

On Thursday, WoF social correspondent, Maggie Sajak, 29, revealed two of the contestants booked to appear on the first episode of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune‘s upcoming season.

Pat’s daughter posted a pic to her Instagram Stories showing the names Andrew Rannells and Josh Gad spelled out on the new Wheel of Fortune game board.

Andrew, 46, is an actor best known for originating the role of Elder Kevin Price in the 2011 Broadway musical The Book of Mormon.

He was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical and won the 2012 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album.! 

The Tony nom and the Grammy are shared with his fellow episode one constant Josh, 43.

Josh played Elder Arnold Cunningham in The Book of Mormon and is known for voicing Olaf in the Frozen franchise and playing Le Fou in the live-action adaptation of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.

Earlier this week, Celebrity Wheel of Fortune announced its premiere date with Pat getting a final hurrah as host as he joins Vanna White, 67, on the spinoff.

The Wheel of Fortune special will return on October 14, 2024, on ABC and Hulu.

The iconic game show announced the big news on Instagram Wednesday with a poster that showed Vanna beaming alongside Pat – where they’ll team up for the last time.

Above them is a puzzle board that read, “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune Returns.”

In the caption, WoF confirmed this is Pat’s last time hosting any part of the show.

“It’s the final spin for Pat Sajak as host when Celebrity Wheel of Fortune premieres October 14 at 8/7c on ABC and Stream on Hulu,” the caption reads.

After the premiere, Celebrity Wheel of Fortune will likely air weekly.

The announcement comes as Ryan, 49, prepares to make his debut as host of the syndicated Wheel of Fortune in less than a week.

PAT IS BACK!

Some longtime fans were confused by the announcement, believing Pat had left the game show for good.

After 41 years on the job, Pat’s last episode as the Wheel of Fortune host aired on June 7, 2024.

The TV personality was set to retire from showbiz and hand off his hosting duties to Ryan but, as part of his contract, Pat has one more year of hosting duties on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune to fulfill.

This is why he’s not fully retiring, allowing fans to get one more dose of Pat before he officially retires for good.

Celebrity Wheel of Fortune typically airs about ten episodes per season, and the longtime host reportedly began taping the shows in July.

After this season of Celebrity Wheel, it’s all but certain Ryan will host the special going forward.

Meanwhile, while Pat will otherwise no longer be hosting, he’ll still be close by, serving as a supervising producer for the next three years.

WHEELY COOL

Recently, the game show gave fans a glimpse at the new puzzle board ahead of the upcoming season.

Maggie revealed that the set piece holds special meaning because of her father’s tenure on the game show.

The puzzle wall was revealed in an Inside Edition clip hosted by Maggie where she caught up with Ryan and Vanna during an event at the Santa Monica piece in California.

During the segment, Inside Edition unveiled the new puzzle board for the first time.

The new puzzle board features some old details, which Maggie claimed was a tribute to her dad.

There is a flashy golden border around the puzzle board, as there was in the 1980s.

“It’s kind of an homage to the set of the 80s which is where people got introduced to the show. So I think there’s something really nostalgic but a lot of really modern, fresh elements,” she explained.

It has been widely reported that incoming host Ryan intends to bring an err of freshness and modernity to the show, which some fans are split about.
