MICHAEL Strahan has gone missing from Good Morning America.

He is typically absent on Mondays during football season, but his current job had an off week.Michael Strahan was absent from Good Morning America on Monday

Gio Benitez took Michael‘s place at the desk.

He sat next to George Stephanopoulos and Linsey Davis, who filled in for Robin Roberts.

Gio is typically the Saturday and Sunday co-anchor, but fills in for the main hosts when needed.

Michael is usually missing from the morning show on Mondays because he is an analyst on Fox NFL Sundays.

He was last on GMA on Friday with George and Eva Pilgrim.

The football program films in California while GMA takes place in New York City.

However, NFL Sundays ended last week, due to the football season ending.

The Super Bowl is taking place on Sunday, February 11, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Michael is sure to be on the NFL program then.

The network has not revealed when he will return.

MYSTERIOUS MICHAEL

Before his absence, Michael was placed in an awkward situation on live TV.

On Thursday, the hosts talked about Travis Kelce, 34, and Taylor Swift, 34, after Travis clapped back at the rumors that his relationship with the Grammy-winner would be a distraction for the Super Bowl.

“But it is amazing that some people are just so up in arms. Like who cares? It’s great!” Robin said.

“Let’s enjoy some football, and some love, and keep it moving,” agreed correspondent Will Reeve.

“And I love how they say, you know what, they’re good, they’re not going to hear anything. Good for them,” Robin replied.

Michael gave his opinion on the matter after staying quiet, saying, “Stay away from it.”

Robin then put a hand on her co-host’s shoulder, and asked, “Got anything else to add? You don’t got anything to say?”

“No, I mean I’m happy for them!” Michael said.

He then looked around at his co-hosts awkwardly, who seemed to expect the former football player to have more of an opinion on the matter.

“Michael I’m going to help you and we’re going to switch gears,” joked Will to Michael’s relief.

‘GET IN THE GAME’

Aside from GMA and Fox NFL Sundays, Michael has other business ventures that he often promotes.

On Friday, he shared a glimpse on another project on Instagram.

In the post, Michael shared a photo of clothing he’d created for the Super Bowl, in partnership with a designer.

The host showed off a jacket inspired by the Superbowl’s location.

“NEW DROP ALERT. Get in the game for #SuperBowlLVIII with MSX by Michael Strahanâ„¢ x @starterofficial. Now on sale at @fanatics!” the post read.

“So epic,” one fan in the comments said.

“These are sick,” agreed a second.
