Monday night was the last semi-final until the two-part finale begins on February 12.

Only three acts made it through to the finals: V.Unbeatable, who were stolen from Howie Mandel‘s dream team as Heidi Klum pushed the golden buzzer, Shadow Ace, and dancer Musa Motha.

One act that didn’t make it through was magician, Yu Hojin.

He turned multiple items, including pictures, a camera, and a pocket watch, into rose petals.

In the end, Yu then had all of the rose petals on the ground fly up to him.

When they were in his hand, he turned them into a full rose with stems and a base, placing the flower into a vase.

The audience and the judges clapped for Yu when he was done.

MEL B’S CONFUSION

Mel B, 48, and Simon Cowell clapped, but looked at each other in confusion.

“Did you get that?” Simon, 64, asked her.

“Some of it,” the former Spice Girl replied.

When it was Mel’s turn to talk, she said that she liked that Yu told a story, even though she didn’t quite understand it.

The audience booed her and she turned around to them and asked if they got it.

She asked in the crowd, who didn’t get it and only about five people raised their hands.

They continued to boo, and she said, “Let me talk! Give me a chance.”

Simon said he also didn’t get it.

FANS REACT

The clip of Yu’s act was posted to X, formerly Twitter, and fans sided with the audience.

“I don’t know what @OfficialMelB and @SimonCowell were talking about. I thought he did great and I understood what was going on,” one wrote.

“Wonderful, engaging, sweet magic!! @SimonCowell and Mel B, the story is love!” a fan explained.

“He was amazing! How can you not understand that act!!???” a third added.

“Great! I disagree with the judges,” another said.

“He was amazing, regardless of the judges’ comments,” one last fan wrote.
