Kate Garraway, a familiar face on ITV’s Good Morning Britain, has revealed an exciting new career venture that takes her beyond the morning talk show.

On Thursday’s episode of Good Morning Britain, the 57-year-old broadcaster joined co-hosts Ed Balls and Susanna Reid to discuss her latest project

a celebrity role on the highly anticipated Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer.

Kate, who has been a mainstay on the ITV breakfast show for years, was thrilled to share her involvement in the charity version of the beloved baking competition.

The special series is set to return to Channel 4 on March 16, bringing together a fresh batch of celebrity contestants

who will compete in baking challenges to raise money for cancer research.
