The surprise unfolded during an interview where Tanner was sharing his admiration for Jack Black. Mid-conversation, Jack Black himself walked in, leading to an emotional and unforgettable moment. Jack praised Tanner’s performance on “Love on the Spectrum,” calling it “incredible.” They bonded over their love for music and acting, with Jack encouraging Tanner’s musical pursuits, saying, “Keep on rocking, keep on singing.” The duo then performed an impromptu duet of Tenacious D’s massive hit song “Tribute,” showcasing that they have great musical chemistry. Black then let out a flurry of hilarious comments, saying that people confuse the saxophone and Sax-A-Boom, but that “a Sax-A-Boom is its own kind of instrument that takes years to master.” Once Fallon revealed he had a Sax-A-Boom on the set, Black took it with reverence and declared, “Here it is, rare as a Stradivarius.
