At his show in Eugene, Ore., over the weekend, country legend Garth Brooks had a massive surprise in store.

During his hit “We Shall Be Free,” an 800-person choir descended from all corners of the stadium, resulting in an awe-inspiring moment. They then transitioned into The Isley Brothers‘ “Shout,” making the crowd go crazy, as it is tradition for the classic tune to be played at University of Oregon football games.

The performance was historic for more than one reason, setting the record for attendance at Autzen Stadium, which has a capacity of 54,000.

Brooks later went live on his Facebook page on Monday, sharing exclusive footage from the momentous show.
