“If your path demands you to walk through hell, walk as if you own the place,” the 50-year-old’s post read.

It was a quote written in white text on a simple black background, tagging the Instagram account @1.spiritual.

The message seemed to indicate Carson could be going through his own “hell” but he didn’t elaborate further.

It also insinuated that those going through hell should take a degree of pride in what they were dealing with.

Carson has seemingly been dealing with things on his own after being absent multiple times over the past few months.

While he’s also been back at his post here and there, some of Carson’s experiences have been here and there in terms of tone.

Recently, he shared some regrets about his mother’s death in an emotional new post.

Another time, he shared some then-and-now photos as he reunited with his old coworkers.

ARSON’S MESSAGE

This isn’t the first cryptic message that Carson has shared with his followers.

The Today show host previously subtly hinted about some unspoken unhappiness amid his many recent absences.

Carson, who had been missing an increasing amount of screen time from the show, shared some quotes to his Instagram Stories.

And while he doesn’t provide much context for them, they all seem to be about making a big change in your life.

Carson’s first slide was perhaps his most revealing – directly talking about making a move.

“The move you’re scared to make, just might be the one,” he shared.

Next came a prayer to the lord, asking, “Please give me strength and wisdom to deal with whatever happens today. Help me do things that make you happy. Please be with me, keep me safe, and give me peace. Amen.”

The 50-year-old topped them all off with an inspirational note.

“Decide what kind of life you really want, and then say no to everything that isn’t that.”

DALY OCCURRENCE

On Monday, he posted another series of cryptic quotes about his future.

“You can literally feel in your soul when it’s TIME,” he shared.

“Time to move on from people, time to make a change in your life, time to get rid of unhealthy habits, time to want MORE for yourself. At some point, you’ll just know.”

He followed that up with another quote looking forward to the future.

“Six months from now, you’re going to look back at your life and say, ‘I really did believe in myself, and it worked,’” the quote read.

CARSON’S CONQUESTS

Carson missed nearly the entire month of December from Today and has already been absent multiple times this new year.

His absences typically come when he hosts live episodes of The Voice on the West Coast.

However, Carson has been M.I.A. a few times this month.

On January 15, Carson was in California as he and his wife, Siri, 43, attended the Emmy Awards.

The Voice was nominated for best reality competition show.

He was absent that day and the next as he traveled back home.

The week before that, Carson was also suddenly missing.
