Taylor Swift is almost finished with her tour, and fans have been very vocal about their hopes that she and her boyfriend of over a year, Travis Kelce, tie the knot soon. Swift would like that kind of future with Kelce too, sources told Us Weekly, but she isn’t about to get engaged to him yet.

The insiders explained why Swift is taking her time—and they also shared why she isn’t about to have children either.

“Taylor does feel like Travis is The One, but jumping in is not her style,” one source said. “That’s just not how she does [things]. Marriage is a big deal, and she wants [it to be] forever.”

A second source added that both she and Kelce would “love to be engaged,” but they “aren’t rushing it.”In fact, 2025 will be a big test for Kelce and Swift’s relationship as both stars will have time off work after Kelce’s football season ends. “Taylor and Travis are eager to spend quality time together because [that’s when] the little nuances about someone’s personality and habits come into play,” the first source said. “They will learn so much about each other.”

The second source added that the pair intends to be in New York City, at Swift’s home there. “Taylor plans to stay in and hibernate [with Travis] for a while,” the second source said. “They want to do ‘normal things’ as a couple.”

Needless to say, they also aren’t becoming parents soon. “She’s not considering kids right now because of her career,” the first source said. “Taylor and Travis are both so busy.” The insider added, however, that “Taylor would love to be a mom in the next few years.” She and Kelce are “very humble and family-oriented. That’s why [their relationship] works so well.”
