On Thursday, Carson, 50, shared two concerning posts to his Instagram Story.

The first was a quote that he shared from another page.

It read, “It’s ok if you fall apart sometimes.”

“Tacos fall apart all the time and we still love them.”

Carson also posting about overthinking and being strong.

He has been very open about his mental health in recent years and had admitted to suffering from anxiety.

He typically leads the POPStart segment each day and reports on the daily pop culture news.

Carson has been on the morning show every day this month so far.

However, he was absent for multiple days in February.

During that time, Sheinelle Jones filled in for him during his segment.

Typically, she or Dylan Dreyer will lead POPStart when Carson is out.

The reason for Carson’s absence was not known.

However, he is the host of The Voice and may have to film episodes in California when Today takes place in New York.
