AMY Robach has addressed Rob Marciano’s firing from ABC, over a year after she was also axed from the network.

The meteorologist, 55, was reportedly terminated from Good Morning America on April 30, though the details remain scarce.Amy Robach and TJ Holmes spoke about Rob Marciano's firing from ABC this week

Amy, 51, spoke about the news on her iHeartRadio podcast, Amy & TJ Podcast, which she runs with her boyfriend and former co-star TJ Holmes, 46.

On the May 3 installment, the couple shared their sympathy for Rob, who worked for a decade with the network before he was released.

“We were with somebody just at a breakfast the other morning where somebody reminded us, ‘hey, nobody leaves ABC News in a pretty fashion. That’s what they said,’” the father of three claimed.

Amy then chimed in to confirm, saying, “Word for word. It’s a tough situation. Yes, we have walked down that road. It’s not an easy one.

“I think he might still be going through a divorce, so we know what it’s like to have your entire life upended, career and personal life.”

The former TV stars explained that they’ve known Rob for a long time, TJ saying that he is “one of the best” in his field.

“We hate to see somebody who’s been a friend and a colleague for a long time end up in this place, in this position, to be talked about the way he’s being talked about to some degree,” he added.

Though the couple didn’t comment specifically on the allegations against Rob, they admitted they did know what it’s like to have “those headlines” and “be the subject of clickbait.”

Amy explained, “That’s a tough position for anyone to be going through. Especially someone who’s a father of two. I know he loves his kids, he talks about them all the time.

“Our heart goes out to him. We wish him the very best,” they closed.

ROB’S DOWNFALL

A year before his reported firing, ABC temporarily barred Rob from filming segments at the Manhattan studio.

Then, in March, a source revealed to Page Six that he was “found to have done something…that was improper.

“But he was punished for it and they still haven’t let him return.”

The insider added that there were reportedly several issues that led up to Rob’s firing.

They said the weatherman was “very cranky and angry… unsavory behavior on his part.”

“Any decision made about the team is based first and foremost on protecting the culture and enabling our people to focus on the work of news-gathering, free of distraction.”

A second source claimed that Rob was dealing with “anger issues” after divorcing his ex-wife, Eryn, last year.

Others suggested that GMA boss Simone Swink “won’t allow him back” as she has been “extra cautious and protective” after the replacement of her predecessor Michael Corn.

Michael was axed in April 2021 for allegedly sexually assaulting two female staffers.

Rob has not publicly addressed his firing at this time.

WEATHERMAN

The morning news correspondent was hired by ABC as the senior meteorologist in July 2014.

Before joining the team, the weatherman was a host on CNN and Entertainment Tonight.

In 2021, Rob went through a difficult divorce with his ex, Eryn, whom he married 11 years prior.

The former couple shares a daughter named Madelynn and a son named Mason.

Meanwhile, Amy and TJ were fired from ABC in December 2022 after news of their controversial affair went public.
