When The View came back from commercial on Monday, the hosts talked about couples who have good relationships but struggle with what their partner does in the kitchen.
“They are either complete slobs or they make recipes that are too complicated or they just don’t taste good,” Whoopi, 68, said.
Whoopi turned the conversation to her co-hosts and Sunny, 55, was the first to speak up.
She shared that she likes to man the kitchen, cook her own food, and do her own thing.
Meanwhile, Sunny wants her husband, Emmanuel, to take care of the outdoor stuff like picking up after their dogs, taking our the trash, fix their cars, etc.
“He doesn’t cook that well,” she said.
“Ok,” Whoopi said. “Just talk all of his business right in to the camera. Let him know, ‘you suck as a cook.’”
A WEIRDO DISH
“He makes one dish,” Sunny went on to say.
“Manny, you have one dish and I don’t like that one dish.”
Joy Behar asked Sunny what is was.
With a disgusted face, she said, “He makes his weirdo quinoa, chickpea, avocado thing.”
Sara Haines told Sunny to just name the dish and not let him know it’s “weirdo.”
Sunny said it again and Whoopi sat up, warning her, “Oh, you gonna be alone after today. You better stop!”
BE PREPARED
The hosts then went on to discuss going to bed angry with their significant others.
Whoopi said she goes to bed alone so she doesn’t have to worry about that.
Sunny then spoke up and gave more insight into her relationship with her husband.
“I sort of believe in ‘don’t let the sun set on your anger’,” Sunny shared.
“If Manny and I are in an argument, I can’t sleep.”
Whoopi leaned across the table and told her co-host, “Be prepared for today because when he sees what you said-.”
“I know. He just saw his nasty quinoa recipe,” Sunny responded.
Sunny married Emmanuel Hostin in 1998 and they have two children together.
