The View fans have admitted they weren’t particularly happy to see an ex-host of the morning show reappear on the ABC program.

Candace Cameron Bure was a co-host on The View from 2015-2016.

Candace came on the morning show on Friday as a guest rather than a staple at The View table.

Fans were not excited to see her back on the show.

On X, fka Twitter, fans complained that watching Candace on the morning show made them want to switch off the TV.

“Candace Bure? @candacecbure @JoyVBehar @sunny *click @TheView #TheView,” a fan tweeted, attaching a meme of someone turning off the television.

“I’ll be changing the channel once Candace comes out. #TheView,” a second fan agreed.

“That makes TWO of us!!!! I can’t stand her…,” another mentioned.

“UGH! Candace Cameron Bure,” a third person groaned on X.

“#TheView I’m done. And I definitely don’t want to see creepy, smiling Candace,” a fourth person remarked.

‘SUPER TOUGH JOB’

A few years later, after she departed from The View, she opened up about her experience on the show.

She said candidly about the show in the May issue of Good Housekeeping in 2020: “That was a super tough job.

“It helped me grow a lot, but that was the most difficult job I’ve had to date… you always feel like you’re fighting to speak your opinion.”

Candace told the magazine that keeping up with all the political stories was tiring.

She noted that her conservative perspective made it harder for her to communicate her points to the show’s more liberal audience and co-hosts.

‘LITTLE LIGHTER & MORE FUN’

Candace revealed to the publication that she’d be willing to do more talk shows in the future.

But only if they were “a little lighter and more fun” than the ABC series.

The 44-year-old also spoke to the magazine about the end of Fuller House, which will come to a close after the final nine episodes drop later this year.

“If I am forever known as D.J. Tanner and everyone’s big sister, I will be thrilled and happy,” she said.

She added: “Full House and Fuller House have brought so much joy, comfort, and love to so many people.

There’s nothing more I want to be associated with than wonderful and positive things. I embrace the show as an adult just as I embraced it back when I was 10 years old.”
