After that he was spotted at his grandfather’s funeral but now it seems like he has moved on. Recently, the star player was spotted at the Texas Tech games where he received a standing ovation as he sat with his wife, Brittany Mahomes. But fans have a different opinion on it and how he reacted to the standing ovation.

Fans Troll Patrick Mahomes For Moving On “Too Quick” After Super Bowl Loss As He Was Spotted Attending Texas Tech Raiders’ Game

An account on X by the  name MLFootball reposted Patrick Mahomes’ video with a caption that read as, “#Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes is in good spirits only a couple of weeks after losing the Super Bowl. Tonight, he received a major ovation at his alma mater, Texas Tech basketball games.”

But fans reacted pretty strongly to it. A fan wrote, “He got over that sh*t the next day”, while another fan wrote, “Didn’t think he was in a major state of depression”.

A third fan wrote, “Bruh yall act like players don’t have lives outside of their sport lol it’s been close to a month and y’all expect him to keep being sad 😂 “

Another user wrote, “nfl fans when they realize athletes lives move on😱😱”

Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, turned heads as they arrived at the United Supermarkets Arena to cheer on for Patrick’s former team, the Texas Tech Raiders as they played against the Houston Cougars. The whole stadium erupted in excitement and gave a standing ovation to the star player.

Patrick Mahomes And His Family Are Currently Dealing With A Personal Loss

The last couple of weeks have been pretty difficult for the star player both personally and professionally. Fans and experts expected the Kansas City Chiefs to bring the trophy home at the 2025 Super Bowl but unfortunately, luck was not in their favour.

After the match, Patrick Mahomes spoke to the reporters and said, “There’s no way around it. Anytime you lose a Super Bowl, it’s the worst thing in the world… it will stick with you the rest of your career. It’s going to hurt for a while, but how can you respond from it?”

Days after losing the Super Bowl to the Philadelphia Eagles, Patrick Mahomes went through a personal loss as his maternal grandfather passed away. The star player was pretty close to his maternal grandfather and it might have affected him pretty severely.

While things were tough for Patrick Mahomes, it seems like the star player is trying his best to move on.
