The Kansas City Chiefs are nearly three weeks removed from their 40-22 blowout loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX and life is relatively back to normal for Patrick Mahomes and company.
On Thursday afternoon the team celebrated the return of tight end Travis Kelce, who announced he’ll be back for his 13th season after considering retirement following the heartbreaking Super Bowl LIX loss. Mahomes took to social media to react to the news with a gif from “The Last Dance” a documentary featuring the Chicago Bulls dynasty led by Michael Jordan.
The return of Kelce isn’t the only thing Mahomes was celebrating on Thursday night, though.

The three-time Super Bowl champion and his wife, Brittany, found some time away from their three kids, Sterling, 4, Bronze, 2 and Golden Raye, who was just born on Jan. 12, for a date night.
Brittany took to Instagram to share a candid photo of the couple posing on their night out.
“Date night,” she said in the post while tagging her Chiefs star quarterback husband.

Ahead of the Super Bowl LIX loss to the Eagles, Mahomes revealed Golden would be in attendance at the Superdome despite being just a few weeks old.
“She’s been amazing, she’s been sleeping well. Mom’s been extremely happy, and I’m excited for her to be able to come,” he told reporters at the time. “I think it’ll be her first football game at the Super Bowl, and I hope that we get her a win.”
Mahomes has plenty of time to enjoy the offseason before preparing for the 2025 campaign.
