MATT Lauer has been spotted on a rare outing with his girlfriend, Shamin Abas, seven years after he was fired from Today.

The ex-TV host has kept a low profile since being axed from Today in November 2017 for sexual misconduct allegations.

On Saturday, photos captured Matt, 66, and Shamin, 53, attending former CNN host Don Lemon’s wedding to his longtime partner, Tim Malone, in New York City.

The couple dressed their best for the occasion, with Matt rocking a navy blue suit and Shamin donning an ankle-length tan and brown striped skirt, a brown top, and a red sweater draped over her shoulders.

She paired the look with black open-toed heels and her brunette locks flowing straight down.

They seemed in good spirits, walking hand-in-hand as they arrived at the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church in Midtown.

TENSE REUNION

In December, the duo were seen in town celebrating NBC Special Projects producer Jennifer Long’s wedding.

She wed businessman Reid Sterrett at the Union League Club, which Matt’s former Today show colleagues also attended.

However, they weren’t all excited to be in the same room again with Matt, especially his ex-co-host, Savannah Guthrie, 52.

Savannah and Matt co-hosted Today before he was infamously fired for “inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace.

He was replaced by Hoda Kotb, 59, who officially took on the role in January 2018.

The DailyMail reported that Savannah “initially wanted to decline the invitation” to the wedding upon learning that Matt would be there.

Despite their bad blood, sources claimed to Page Six that “the exchanges between [Matt] and his former colleagues were very cordial and friendly.”

It’s unclear if he and Savannah had any interaction.

Earlier that month, an insider told People that Matt “iced out” many of his former co-workers and friends after fleeing to a farm in New Zealand shortly after his scandal broke.

They also said the journalist has been living a “very quiet lifestyle,” and things were “going strong” between him and Shamin.

Matt was married to Annette Roque, 57, at the time of his scandal, and she filed for divorce in 2019.

The disgraced host’s relationship with his ex-colleagues doesn’t appear to ever be mended, as a source told The U.S. Sun in 2020 that Savannah was still fuming over the ordeal.

“She refused then and still does to this very day to listen to what Matt’s got to say,” the insider revealed.

“From the second the story came out, he feels Savannah jumped on the opportunity to bury him. It’s a betrayal in Matt’s eyes.”

Matt was accused of sexually assaulting former NBC employee Brooke Nevils in 2014, which led to her firing.

Allegations also came through from multiple other women, claiming the ex-news anchor sexually harassed them.
