MARK Consuelos has lost his cool on Tuesday’s Live morning show episode during a heated segment.
Live’s guest actress Jane Krakowski was able to beat Mark at his own game on the NBC program.
Jane, 55, competed in Live’s game segment Stump Mark, the Jane Krakowski edition.
The game’s premise is for Mark, 52, to end up stumped, i.e. confused.
If Mark is unable to identify the true statements about a contestant correctly when given true and false statements about them to choose from, hence getting stumped, the player wins.
Jane would get an I Stumped Mark Again T-shirt if she emerged victorious.
The Name That Tune host was on a roll, not giving away any clues as to which statement was correct, causing Mark to get stumped.
The last round was where things really got intense.
Mark struggled with the last two statements that he was given about Jane.
“I loved the musical Rent so much that I went to see it 20 times,” and “I competed in a NJ Ice Skating Competition & was invited to compete in Lake Placid,” were the claims about Jane.
A GOOD SPORT?
After a moment of thinking, Mark picked the former statement as true, which it wasn’t.
“Give me the shirt,” Jane said, indirectly informing Mark that he was wrong and she had won.
Mark immediately walked offstage when he realized he had lost; however, his wife and co-star Kelly Ripa, 52, remained onstage to celebrate with Jane.
Jane and Kelly happily hugged each other while Mark was gone.
Mark eventually came back to the stage, hugging Jane when he did.
“That doesn’t count against my record [for February],” he told producers when he sat back beside Kelly.
NOT THE FIRST TIME
Mark has stormed off the Live stage after playing Stump Mark with Jane before.
In October 2023, Jane joined Kelly and Mark for the trivia segment.
The rules were the same as always, where Jane would win a T-shirt and a mug just like lucky callers.
Jane’s two statements, which Mark would have to suss out the true one from, were some interesting ones.
They included: “I’m in the Guinness Book of World Records for the world’s biggest tap dance line” and “I was runner-up in the Miss NJ Teen USA Contest.”
At one point, it seemed that Mark knew what the true statement was.
He guessed that Jane was the runner-up in the Miss New Jersey Teen USA Contest.
Mark was incorrect, and angrily walked off the set when Jane revealed he had been wrong.
He came back after a moment with a smile to congratulate Jane for stumping him during the segment.
