Kelly Ripa said the ex-host “just can’t quit this place,” after he left last yearRyan hosted with Kelly for six seasons, before he left last April to pursue other projects and move to California full-time

When Live came back from commercial on Friday, Kelly, 53, and Mark Consuelos were sitting in their chairs, waiting to greet their next guest.

However, before they did that, Kelly told viewers who would be appearing on the show next week.

“Welcome back,” she said. “Don’t forget on Monday’s show, we’ve got a newcomer on the scene.”

“He just can’t quit this place. Ryan Seacrest will be here.”

Mark, 52, had a big smile on his face and cheered, “Yes!”

“Ry Ry’s back!”

Ryan, 49, hosted Live with Kelly for six seasons before he left last April to move to Los Angeles, California, full-time and focus on other projects.

SEACREST OUT!

Last February, Ryan announced that he would be leaving Live.

The talk show was rebranded as Live With Kelly and Mark, as Kelly’s husband joined her as co-host.

Ryan’s main focus for leaving was that he wanted to concentrate fully on American Idol, which films mainly in California.

He said that even though he was going to “miss his work wife,” he was “excited to pass the baton” to Mark.

Ryan told Mark that he should feel free to remodel his dressing room.

Since leaving, Ryan has been back a few times as guest host and a guest.

RYAN SEA-CHEST

Earlier this week, Ryan posted his workout to social media.

He looked determined as he sat on a workout bench, grabbed a pair of weights and did some curls.

Ryan’s dark shirt, which fit tightly around his muscular arms, and shorts matched his black hair, and he finished the look with black socks and a black pair of Nikes.

The Idol host kept his feet firmly on the ground while keeping his calves tight.

Ryan captioned the photo, “The lighting’s doing the real heavy lifting here…”

Fans in his Instagram comments section disagreed.

“Get it Ryan, you’re looking good & strong,” one person wrote.

“The muscles are poppin’,” another said.

Mark was super excited when he heard the news and said, yay, Ry Ry's back
