Kelly and Mark went over some of their viewers’ favorite show moments of the past year
KELLY Ripa and Mark Consuelos have made major changes to their appearance and fans think they look better than they ever have.
When the pair walked out on stage during Monday’s episode of the daytime show, they did so looking ready for a swanky event.
That’s exactly what happened on Monday, of course, as it was time for Live’s Viewers’ Choice Show.
The award ceremony takes a look back at some of the best moments from the past year of Live.
As the name implies, viewers select their favorite segments.
For this award show, Kelly, 53, walked out with a sleek black dress with pointed shoulders and an interesting collar.
She wore her long blonde locks down around her shoulders.
Mark, 52, complemented Kelly in a black and white tuxedo.
It was a far cry from what the pair normally wear on the show.
This episode signified Mark’s first time presenting during the annual award show.
Typically, the pair will wear more casual outfits, with Kelly opting for bright colors, sweaters, skirts, and more.
Mark doesn’t always wear a suit during each broadcast, but he thought he’d do so for the awards show.
Fans were overjoyed to see the pair in the fancier garb.

Kelly recently teased plans to retire from Live after launching her podcast Let’s Talk Off Camera last March.
Last Friday, Kelly couldn’t help but share a bit of news about her side project away from the morning show.
During Live, she and her husband, co-host Mark Consuelos, revealed to fans that actor Sam Rockwell would be a guest that day.
While Kelly gushed over the actor, she also gave a shout-out to his long-time partner, Leslie Bibb.
That’s when she made an exciting reveal about her podcast.
“Now, I spoke to his beloved Leslie Bibb yesterday on my podcast,” Kelly said, before adding, “Season 2 is coming shortly.”
“Here’s what you should know, she revealed some things about Sam,” the host teased of the upcoming episode.
“She told me – I asked her, ‘What’s the sexiest thing about Sam?’ And she goes, ‘Well there are several.’”
Mainly, Leslie said, she thought her partner had a “great tush.”
Kelly’s continued work on her new podcast comes as she’s been teasing a retirement from her talk show.
On an episode of the podcast last year with former Live co-host Ryan Seacrest, he said he knows she thinks about retirement a lot and asked where she is on that journey.
Without hesitation, Kelly admitted, “I’m so close.”
Ryan then called the actress out for continuously taking on more work despite wanting to leave daytime TV.
Kelly explained that she keeps adding more work because she “has to keep her foot in something.”
In August, Kelly – who has been co-hosting Live since 2001 – also shared that she’d been wrestling with the thought of retiring sometime soon.
“I don’t intend to work at this job for the rest of my life,” Kelly said in an interview with Purist magazine.
“I do talk about retirement with great interest, but right now I’m very happy, especially working with Mark,” she concluded.
Kelly hasn’t yet revealed when exactly she plans to exit the daytime show, but, in the meantime, she recently shared there will be a few changes to the program.
The series will be broadcasting from two new locations away from the New York studio soon.
On Wednesday, Kelly and Mark took a moment after their daily trivia game to make a huge announcement.
“This is it…Live is hitting the road,” Kelly excitedly revealed, with the trivia logo still on the screen behind her.
The screen then changed as she added, “We are bringing the show back to Las Vegas!”
With the Vegas sign now behind them, Mark shared, “We’re doing four shows from the BleauLive Theater At Fontainebleau, along the world-famous Las Vegas strip.”
Live fans who will be in the area on February 26 and 27 can get tickets to be in the audience on the Live with Kelly and Mark website.
Vegas isn’t the only new location Live is set to air from.
The hosts revealed last week that they will also once again be heading to Los Angeles for a post-Oscars show.
